Welcome to Damnation - Lost Souls of the Frontier, a wild west fantasy romp that I feel and hope will be a fun expedition for all who are interested. Inspired by the works of Akifumi Kaneko & Takashi Fukushima, John Ford, Sergio Corbucci, Sergio Leone, Shane Lacy Hensley, and many others. What Damnation is at its core a fantastical gothic western setting where adventure and desperation are the destination. As you have read above, I have listed ten archetypes you may build a character around and these characters can be anything you imagine them to be (within the realms of reason and cooperativity) - this is not a “one gun show” and it will be blatant that teamwork will be needed to overcome certain odds. I will be looking for a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 players before I get started so that gives us plenty of time to get started.

Expectations and Rules are pretty basic. We will abide by site rules and we will do our best to remember we are all adults with schedules so we cannot expect consistent posting if something comes up. A bare minimum of one post a week should be a good idea and if inactivity becomes an issue it is the GM’s responsibility to contact you. Assuming your character needs to be interacted with for progress, if you are unable a GM will find a way to do so for the good of the plot. If you leave the RP the same thing occurs.

I'm looking for a group of high casual/advanced writers who can play off one another in a cooperative and friendly capacity. Currently we only have a small group of folks interested, but I thought I'd give a call out for those who might've missed it.

Sam Right
A the second eldest of his 5 siblings. His sisters are eld enough to court if not flirt. And his youngest brother is growing up feeling alone desperate for affection, despite his mothers loving companionship. His oldest brother is a woodsman, as a means of income. As his father, with his 5 children was an avid farmer, until now in his old age that he hires workhands.

Sam is 5'8" and 210lbs. He has dark hair, and a broad chin, covered in a sparse but kept beard. His eyes are blue. But they appear turquoise in the shade, and in the lantern light. He is thick like a farmer whom has seen a woodsmen labour.

His only recognized possession is (a single shot rifle if approved) a broadsword. His axes, although adored, are of rather common quality and rarity. One which extends from his hip to his knee, and the other "a hatchet". However his long coat, tied with a leather belt around his waist is incredible warm and durable (it is a beige colour wool. But the fabric is very well made.).

He wears an undershirt, a common long sleeved shirt, a thin vest (not counting as a layer), and his jacket. He also wears "long-johns" under his pants. His boots are in need of routine cleaning and readjusting as he has no socks. But they are leather.

Sam Right, is a very pessimistic man when listening to someone talk. But not judgemental. He waits until they finish speaking before reaching a conclusion, and his pessimistic air may be replaced with elation. He is considerate, and kind ~ But brutal and untrusting.
His arm was once broken. And although it doesn't seem to effect him. He remembers it, and the weakness there in his right arm is underlying.

He wouldn't kill for money, but he would accept money to kill. However, he hates womanizers more then bandits, and he hates rapists more then dirty police. If there is a woman being neglected, his boot would be well adjusted to solve the issue, If she was abused a mechanic would need to be called in to fix the hinge on the door. He doesn't take kindly to men who cause a scene which leads him to believe they could be such womanizers.{animal abusers}

All in all though. Perhaps he has abandoned one too many on his own. Although he had intended to go back to one or two. He kept on the road. And their safety haunts him as one of his untended regrets. Ones which, like a hang-mans, will never be resolved.
