H e l l o . . .

I am not going to write a long list of rules, because the obvious ones should be mundane to you and the specific ones are always debatable. That being said, I am female and over eighteen. I highly prefer female partners and female/female character pairings; however, if everything in this thread faultlessly speaks to your soul, I will consider males and other pairings. My writing is adaptable; I can write with clear and concise prose , but I can also delve into the poetic and allusive . As for post frequency, once per one to fourteen days will be our standard. Beyond that timeframe I will consider our story ended. Roleplaying is a silent hobby of mine, so our interactions will be restricted to this forum alone.

Luck has not been kind to me. There is always something that imposes tragedy. Thus, I solemnly hope that someone who shares my style and way of being comes along to read this. I admit that it is a delicate balance, however. There may be instances in which two people disagree, but such can be resolved and subsequently deepen bonds. I have made my fair share of mistakes in the past, but hopefully those affected can forgive me.

I want to write with someone that favors adventure. A long journey that voids at the feet of a common goal or threat can birth a myriad of interesting endeavors. I have no desire for something infinite or temporary, but something meaningful that is forged in careful planning, communication, and passion. Make no mistake, I intend for our writings to be advanced in every sense of the word. Mutual understanding and respect requires time, which I hope we both realize, but I have no desire to be your roleplay quick-fix. If I share your time with four or more other people, or some such silliness, then I am of no interest to you or you to me.

I would consider myself liberal in terms of mature content, taboo themes, and vulgarities. A roleplay is purely fictional, after all, which is why I am receptive to a plethora of things that I otherwise would not be. However, if our characters become romantically involved, there is only one requirement: that any sensual activities are secondary to the story. If you have any specific desire or craving, then you are more than welcome to discuss it with me. If I do not agree to it, we will go with the next best thing.

Adventure is my favorite, which means that a great story is not limited to any specific setting, time, or genre. There are certainly things that I enjoy more than others, but it is situational. If we agree on a setting and genre, I will inspire myself through relevant media. However, I think that mood and tone is far more interesting, which also is not bound to any specific parameters. Alternative interpretations of mundane settings and genres are also highly appreciated by me, especially in the case of fandom.

In terms of the English language, I can get quite picky after soon to be four semesters of university studies in that subject. I have mostly focused on literature, but there is a whole heap of grammar in there, regardless. You are not required to be at my level; that would be insane to demand of you. However, if you shy away from the advanced section of the forum because of the writing standards, you are not going to find much comfort here.

F u r t h e r . . .

The basic premise is adventure, which comes in many forms. The second notion is a physical journey and resolution at the end of it. With these two aspects in mind, adding the details becomes a lot easier. You can take concepts that you enjoy from games and movies or interpret existing characters and plots, which adds your own flavor to it all. It is always a good idea to be able to describe the story and roleplay in one sentence. This is how I work, and I hope that it will resonate with you to such extent that you present your ideas to me in the same fashion.

If an idea of yours does not resonate with me, I will always attempt to give you an alternative that carries similarities to what you want; and I expect you to do the same for me. Adding to that, proper character sheets with good style and formatting are extremely important to me, and hopefully to you as well. I treat one-on-one roleplaying as regular group roleplays, but with fewer people in it, so most of what you can expect in those you can expect here as well. However, it does not mean that I am the 'GM' in our writings; we share that responsibility. Sometimes I may ask of you to 'lead', however, so you should be prepared for that; and the same goes for me.

Communicate with me. That is perhaps the most important thing. I know that everyone says that, but it is of particular weight here, because I am openly advertising an extreme investment of time and energy. I do not hold grudges in the event that someone wrongs me, but I am sparing when it comes to second chances. I usually allow for one 'disappearance' to happen, because life is unpredictable, but additional occurrences will result in me taking my leave in a peaceful manner.

P a r t n e r . . .

I am looking for one person at this time and forever thereafter. Do not worry about superficial formalities, for only experience together can show if it is meant to be. Contact me through private messages, not in this thread.

Two characters have won a substantial amount of money. They decide to celebrate by traveling the world. However, at each destination that they visit, something terrible happens and they end up having to fight and survive. This idea is based on games such as Far Cry and Tomb Raider.
