Reference. Baron Samedi likes to think of himself as a smooth dresser who knows fashion. He shows this in his godly form with a pressed white button up shirt underneath a deep purple sleeveless vest covered up with a stripped jacket. He also wears a top hat marked with his own symbol and a feathered skull on the brim of the hat all this covering up firmly knotted dreads ponytail that falls just past his shoulders. The most notable features about his godly appearance is the white skull that his painted onto his face, the hot pepper cigar that will never run out or stop burning and a engraved shovel with a handle that is topped with a golden skull. The final touches to his appearance is a pair of golden glasses that have no lens and his gaunt skeletal frame hidden under all of the flair.

How would they appear as a mortal from day to day life? What are their striking features? At least one solid paragraph.

As a god, Baron Samedi was a spirit that loved to swear, smoke and drink to his hearts content with no consequences. Due to his job as the spirit of death who had to dig graves for all the people that had died so that they could reach eternal rest, he was a light hearted person who lived for the party with the rest of the Loa to take his mind off the people he had lead on their way. At times it may seem that the Baron is some what a split personality but that is only because the god is actually split into three seperate personifications that each take on their own life within one frame. These personifications are broken up into Baron Samedi, Baron La Croix and Baron Cimetiere.

Baron La Croix likes to think of himself as suave and well cultured for being a spirit of death. For being a spirit of death he has an interesting view of death itself seeing it as humorous and absurd as a concept as when your the mortals die they just get sent to the afterlife as a soul to live on. Ironically, La Croix strongly favors individualism and enjoying life's many pleasures all while sharing a body with two other personalities.

Baron Cimetiere is the aspect of Samedi that brings with him the fashion and the love for smoking and drinking. He is a hard person to please as he has an extremely high level of taste that is hard to satisfy with even the finest things in life. Even though he can come off as snobby, he is actually a very polite person who would rather not offend anyone.

Baron Samedi is the main representation of the god and is by far the most vulgar of the personifications. He has a fondness all the vices of man with a love of disruption, obscenity and even debauchery even though he is married to a goddess. Samedi does not seem to have a have a type of woman as he seems to chase after all kinds of mortal women. Even with all these problems he is a generous spirit as he takes mercy on those who are near death and may even great them a longer life if they appease him in someway.

Once Baron Samedi became mortal, all of these personifications were molded into one solid being. This mortal form took aspects from all his forms and formed just one personality from them. Taking from La Croix was the love for enjoying life's pleasure and his suave calming demeanor. From Cimetiere, he took the fine sense of clothes and an intense love for smoking hot pepper cigars and various types of rum as well as his taste for the finer things in life. Finally, from Samedi he took all the vices that were a problem with the god though he did take some good as he also took the kindness for the human life as well.

Obviously a gloss on what they’ve done in human history since coming into existence. Must include what they were known for, how they reacted to the agreement to give up their powers, and what they have done since as a pseudo-mortal.

What skills have they picked up that lie outside the realm of their godly abilities? Also, what residual effects do their powers have on mortals? Aphrodite being attractive, Apollo being a great guitar player and so on.

While the deities begin to regain their powers, slowly, what is it that your character will be able to do/how can they influence the world in supernatural ways? Bear in mind these will be weakened forms to begin with. Eg. Zeus can’t reign down thunder and murder entire cities, but he can probably cast it at one person; Hermes can run at incredible speed, but not to the extent he could as a God...
