The Lord-Chancellor of Impera has invited his esteemed guests from all over the realm to attend the eternal festivities of the Astral Court. It is often a scene of drama and scheming, but also a time to enjoy life's grander things like skillful conversation and dancing. The scene is the Imperial Palace, home of the Empress and the seat of power for all of Impera. A splendid manor with overflowing decadence aiming to harbour nothing but the finest life has to offer, be it living or otherwise. In this time of disarray the Lord-Chancellor wishes to show the realm that there is nothing to fear and under the guidance of their beloved Queen there is but prospering times ahead.
Here I simply want soap opera meets nobility festivities. A slice of dancing and ample conversation of everything and nothing, there is no extensive lore to know but perhaps a few made up places that I've come up with. This takes place on another world that is part of a star-spanning kingdom, but the focus is mainly on the upper class and their way of having fun. From ballroom dancing and eating fourteen course dinner, to secret corridor drama where, say, the Duchess of Heera decides that her second in command is sleeping with her husband and wants to burn.
