Altho, question! Since Evander is unemployed vigilanteing about, how do we want to link these two nerds together via creepy magic terrible times?? Perhaps he trespasses on the dig site? Weasels in as a hired hand for the project?

Well, I was thinking about that, and I think I have an idea.

Evander is on a crazy hunt for dark magicians in his spare time (when he's not 'vigilanteing'). So if sort of tomb was discovered and it was suppsosed to contain gold a-plenty, then Victoire would probably want find that tomb, right? So Evander would already be down there, I dont know, beacause of some kind of source of necromany that he would want to destroy. He would probably find her down there and mistake her for some sort of dark wizard.

Victoire would be on that gold like flies on shit. And oooh, yes. Maybe there's scrolls on techniques--raising inferi, maybe attempts to bring the dead back as they were (mayhaps even successfully??? That would be terrifyingly awful). Plus all sorts of dangerous relics and traps and curses galore.

And, of course, they're bound to run into /actual/ Dark Wizards, because yes.

Another thought; they were in the same year, and they were both Prefects, so likely they at least knew of each other, probably had classes together over the years. Any thoughts on their interacions there?? Victoire was pretty solitary, although she undoubtedly followed Teddy Lupin around for the first 5 years, and had a small friends group.

I thought about that Hogwarts biz as well! I'd say that they probably wouldn't have talked much, but he would have definitely known of her. I was thinking in his sixth year he took a turn for the worst, so I can see him being somewhat sipteful towards her during his last two years.

I love JK, and I know from a story perspective that having romances from the series be canon is a lot more satisfying to the narrative than "but they broke up a few years later because they were young and still growing up". But pfffft shit don't work like that yo. There's a reason marrying young rarely works out

Well, I'm in quite a few RPs, so I try to reply to threads mostly in order. Things get shuffled around based on inspiration and what not sometimes. Having a list helps keep me from forgetting about games too much.
