Pass it, and you'll become Genosha's first Special Forces unit. Fail, and you wash out, and get to join the regular troops on the front line when this cold war heats up." The fact that he had served in the US army during the US/USSR cold war insured that he knew more about it than most of the rest of them. "What's more, President Lehnsherr will be watching the test himself, to see if all of the money we've invested in your training was worth it. If you fail, the Special Force's program could very well be shut down. Now, pay attention. Colonel Darkholme is here to brief you on the mission, and I don't want her to have to repeat herself." Genosha's military forces weren't as uniform as those of the other nations, due to the variety of powers present in it's members, which lead to them behaving in ways that many other nation's troops wouldn't think of. That could be both a negative and a positive.

Colonel Darkhole stepped forward, this time in her natural blue form. "Ok, here's the plan." Before she could continue, though, a man in a red and black outfit, wearing several guns and two swords on his back stepped forward.

"Boring," he said, "I'm sure Colonel Sanders here would be able to tell you all about your mission, but let's face it, you'd all be snoring before she finished, so here's what you need to know." He pushed a button on a remote several times and a picture of a man with mutton chops, smoking a cigar while wearing a business suit appeared on the screen behind him. "Wolvy here will play Senator Johnson. Colonel Bloobs, Dr. Blink, and I will be FBI agents sent to pick him up on charges of treason. You need to get him out of there before we kill him. We'll be trying to get him out of there in our totally-not-cliche black unmarked SUV or, if we think we can't, shoot him before you can get him out. While muttonchops and I can't get killed, the rest of you and the innocent island people we hired to play the other roles aren't so lucky, so we'll all be limited to non-lethal force for the mission. Any question?"

Blink (Dr. Clarice Ferguson): Intelligence operative that provides information to agents in the field. Also performs stealth infiltration/exfiltration for the team and works as a field medic.
Wolverine (James "Logan" Howlett): Sent by Professor Xavier to insure that Magneto doesn't start a war. He works as an actor for the Genoshan military and police forces partly to earn money and partly so that he can make sure the troops won't go along with an invasion.

Abilities:
*Secretes psychoactive venom from his pores that causes psychedelic reactions with the consistency of tacky resin similar to gymnast chalk, he can use this to cling to solid objects.
*His legs muscle were twice as dense as everyone else's as are his bones from the pelvis down resulting in strength three times a normal person or equal to one professional athlete, all without working out. In the last year "___" has put him on a killer workout session to make up for lost time so now his leg strength is equal to ten men.
*Superhuman flexibility and spine capable if contortionist movements.
*His lungs can expand and compress large quantities of air that can be expelled with enough force to knock a fully grown human off their feet or hold enough air for him to stay underwater for a half hour.
*Superhuman taste, perhaps more of a negative trait than he would hope for, but it means he could easily track someone by licking where they might have touched. Mostly he uses it to taste test 'product' to make sure it isn't tampered with.

Skills:
*He was a highly skilled capoeira student for eight years but barely practiced at all for seven years until "___" insisted he learn again, Toad has now taken up Muay Tai in the last year as a way to hone his superhuman kicking.
*After four years of football, he is a skilled athlete even though he barely puts any work into it at all.
*He has become overly familiar with multiple narcotics and paraphernalia over the last nine years.
*A twelve inch purple prehensile 'Gene Simmons' tongue may not seem like a skill, but it is worth noting beforehand if he has to grab something or manipulate a small object with his mouth.

Personality:
An active team player, he works best with others and following others leads. He has a deep seated loathing for the 'pretty' mutants like his mother and scarlet witch.

Brief bio:
He's a fucked up pup, that is for sure. He was the bastard son of a high school head cheerleader and a one night stand with a college guy. Pregnant at 16, she fell into depression and tried to drink herself into a miscarriage. It didn't take but it did cause certain birth defects such as his appearance and body growth. She blamed him for everything wrong in her life after that including the fact that her parents refused to let her give him up for adoption until she was 18. On her birthday she took her year old son to the orphanage to give him up as his first and only birthday present to his own mother. It was there that she met a man Named Erik, a capoeira instructor from Brazil who was looking to adopt a boy of his own since he was unable to have children after blow to his groin. What should have been a simple transfer became dating and eventually marriage.

She still resented her son for ruining her life and further fell into alcoholism. Her binge drinking along with general abusive treatment of Mortimer, 'an ugly name for an ugly baby', left him seemingly developmentally challenged. For all of her fury, his dad was his safety, he stuck with the failing marriage while devoting the attention to Mort and constant therapy attempts for his wife. While he was always a quiet child, his dad would take him everyday to class to keep him away from his mom where he learned and developed physically, able to do some of the more advanced techniques with no effort at all.

Sadly, when he was 13, a crane fell from a building and killed over a dozen people, his dad was one of them. Again Mortimer was somehow to blame in his twisted mothers mind that all she had left was a massive law suit. It was then that he fell into recreational drug use instead of gymnastics and martial arts like his dad had always hoped while his mother tried to drink away the thousands of dollars.

She couldn't wait for him to move out at 18 so she could cut him off and lets him do whatever he wants in hopes he'll kill himself as long as he left her alone. Miraculously when its time for teacher conferences, she always managed to pull her act together and play the part of a Stepford mom for a few hours in public before she took the mask back off once she is in the door.

During his first year in highschool, when Mort was under the bleachers getting stoned, the football coach found him after he kicked a twenty pound rock across the parking lot into the principals car. In exchange for turning a blind eye to his recreational drugs, Mort joined the football team where he meet "____", later known as "____". The two became friends instantly, constantly chilling and hanging out. Once Mort was out at a party when one of the other kids thought he could make a name for himself by taking out a football player, Toad killed the boy with a kick to the crotch that broke every bone in the spinal column from pelvis to atlas.

Before the police arrived, "___" got to him first and offered him a place in their ranks. He joined them if they would recruit "____" as well. "___ has spent the last year forcing him through his paces, trying to make up for the last decade Toad spent squandering his life.
Equipment:
He wears something resembling a scuba suit made of mono-directional tubing to wick away his constantly leaking resin to the palms of his hands where it is stored in a spongy material to use as needed later.
He wears high impact polymer leg armor over his feet, thins, thighs and groin. Aside from protecting his legs, they allow to focus his kicks to single points to maximize the power.
