Zack made his way to his friend's house. He had been worried about the other man for awhile. Something was wrong. He didn't know what it was. But he wanted to help if he could. He wasn't sure what he could do but he was going to make sure that his friend knew that he was there. No matter what. He wouldn't judge the other man. He knew that life could be hard sometimes. No matter what his friend was struggling with he was going to help.

Zack frowned at the cages set up at the slave mart. He wasnt comfortable owning another person. But the king had declared that if he wanted to go on this quest he had to have one. The prophesy stated the Mage and and his companion. That was the only reason he was here. He would have the kingdom no matter what it took. He walked through the cages studying every person inside. How would he know which one to choose?

Roxy paced her small cell. She hated being locked up. How dare her father sell her like she was a piece of property? All because he couldn't control her. Her father was not a good man and she hsd refused to follow his example since she understand that what he did hurt other people. He had tried starving her, locking her in the smallest cell he could, he had even tried whipping her. But she would not bend to his will. She would not bend to anyone's will.

Katherin cursed her blindness. It was one thing made it impossible for her to escape. She wanted to out. She paced the basement floor that made but her cell. There had to be a way out. She tan her fingers slowly over the walls. She carefully search every inch of her cell. The only way out she could find was the door leading upstairs where her guardian was. She knew even if she got the door open she would never make it out of the house. But she had to try.

Roxy pulled her leather jacket higher trying to cover her ears. She wasnt really dressed for the weather. Her black leather jacket and black tshirt weren't much of a deterrent from the cold. But she hadnt had time to change. It wouldn't have been so bad if her bike hadnt broken down forcing her to walk. She hurried down the dark streets glad that she had her knives on her. She was confident in her ability to protect herself. She looked up as a sound caught her attention.

Griffin paced his living room. He knew he wouldn't be able to pace long but he needed the movement. He hated his curse. His father had turned into something that wasnt human. Now the villagers that lived outside his woods feared him. Not that he blamed them. He barely had control over his beast. Still he did his best to never hurt the people in the village. It wasnt their fault that his father had turned him into something more beast then man to control them all.

If anyone had asked Katherin why a blind woman was roaming Los Vegas she would have said something like: Not seeing the sights or, not looking for someone." yes she had an odd personalit but she couldn't help it. She had been blind her whole life having a sense of humor helped her deal with it. The truth was she didn't know why she was here. There was nothing for her here. She bought tickets random places and explored them before moving on. That's what she was doing now. Exploring.

Liz wake to the feel of someone's lips pressed to hers. For a second she was afraid to move. Who was kissing her? Why were they kissing her? The sensation stirred something inside her. But she couldn't identify the emotions. When she finally gathered the courage to open her eyes she saw the face of a stranger. She didn't recognize the person kissing her! What did that mean? Had she lost her memory?

Katherin carefully made her way down the street. She knew it was late. She could hear the decreased activity around her. She used her cane to check the path in front of her. She traveled this route often enough that she wasn't worried about getting lost without a guide. As a blind orphan she was use to making her own way. She was halfway a crossed the street when a sound from the alley caught her attention

Katherin used her cane to make her way through the woods. She had long ago memorize the path. She wouldn't get lose as long as she didn't get distracted. The woods were like a second home to her. Her 'grandfather' had lived in them most of her life. Katherin smiled at the thought of the man she called grandfather. They weren't technically related but the lack of a blood connection didn't lessen their love for one another.

Griffin considered himself an avenger of the weak and helpless. He knew what it was like to be at the mercy of someone stronger than he was. He would do whatever he could to help anyone in that situation. So when he heard stories of a woman who had been cursed he went to check it out. In this day and age most people would have written the person off. But he wasn't most people. He believed that anything was possible, even curses.

Katherin was nervous about this pet sitting job. She wasn't sure why but this job felt different. She had been pet sitting for since she was ten. It was a good way for her to earn money for food and other essentials. It wasn't easy being an orphan. She was living on her own now. The agency felt that at eighteen she was capable of taking of taking care of herself. She had to agree since she had mostly taken care of herself most of her life.

Griffin walked by the side of the road. He didn't have any other way to get away from his father. It wasn't the best solution but it was the one he had. He rarely stopped. He knew that his father's men would be looking for him. He hoped that by staying off major roads that he would be able to avoid them for awhile. He needed a place to stay. Unfortunately he didn't know of any place that he could safely hide.

Roxy hated being on stage but she had no choice. She put her costume on. She could hear the stage music. She had only a few more minutes before it was her turn on stage. She tried not to think about it. She loved dancing. It was taking off her clothes that bothered her. She checked her makeup before leaving her dressing room and making her way on stage. The music changed. To the song that had been chosen for her.

He stood in Death's office, if that's what you called the room, and waited for partner to arrive. He wasn't sure what to expect. He had heard that binding souls was more intimate then sex. In a way he could hardly wait. This was something that he had looked forward to his whole life. Now that it was her he was nervous. What if is partners didn't like him. The weapon/miester relationship wasn't something that was easily undone.

He was starting his adventure late. He had had to. His mom had gotten sick the year he turned ten so he hadn't been able to start the way other ten years old had. He didn't mind though. Family was much more important. Now that his mother was stable she insisted that he start now. While he wasn't happy about leaving her he was eager to begin his journey. He made her promise that she would call him if she needed him.
