The world ended a little over a week ago.

A once bustling hamlet in a slightly altered version of medieval Europe is now empty aside from the bodies that fill the streets and the disease that runs rampant. Known as the "Black Plague" this killer disease is known for killing everything and anything that dares to get in its way. When the disease first began, people quickly found that prayer did not help and began to stray from the local churches. Aside from the disloyalty, there was also a heavy sense of blame being pointed at the church and as a result, members of the church became angered and using some sort of mythical, unknown power, they managed to mutate the disease.

Now horrible creatures only conceivable by the darkest imagination roam the streets along with a killer disease. Trapped between two bleak fates, the task of survival has been bestowed upon a small group of survivors who also seem to be interested in the origins of this peculiar disease. . .
