Red-faced and skittish, Hayley quickly sat back up again, mumbling about her own carelessness. "Sorry, Isaac! A-Are you okay?" she asked, hoping that her chest's descent had not cut off the flow of oxygen into his brain. She scooted away from Isaac, but given their initial position, she could only go as far as his waist as she looked down at him with the eyes of a child who was afraid of being punished for doing something she thought to be wrong.
