I feel like my post could have been better, but with everything going on around here, between work, family, and losing friends, I began to actually hate it whilst I chiseled away at my muse. So, I ended it there, and hopefully the party scene will be easier for me to write. My inspiration has not waned, but just this particular scene was maddening!

However, I managed to introduce Baby Jinx, a minor character, inspired by the Lolita fetish type; she's newly eighteen, but small and slight enough to pass for much younger. I'm hoping she adds a little more intrigue to their connective histories in the Church, I'm having fun with that at least.

Anyways, I don't have much music for this particular post. But, whilst driving home from work, Sugar, We're Going Down by Fall Out Boy come onto the radio and I envisioned Alexia and Cadian for some reason, with a bit of Danny. So there's that!

Really, you shouldn't hate it. Just let me know if it's that difficult, we can do something else. I don't want you to hate having to write a post! I hope things are settling for you. I'm terribly sorry I've been so quite lately, and that that took so long to get you a response. I've been battling some things up here. I got Cadian all posted up. I'm hoping to write a post with O'Shey here in the next day or so, so that I can set the scene for the party.

I loved the Baby Jinx character! That whole scene was brilliantly well done, and hopefully she stays around.

Hello sweetness, not sure if you received a missive in accordance to a request I made to a friend. But, I've been forced into a hiatus and lack of method to communication, at least until today [two months later, but I digress], but I wanted to leave a note behind to confess that I think about this story nearly everyday when I'm free to careless thought and wonder. I hope to return to it, one day, or at least to write with you again.

I did receive the message, thank you for that. I'm sorry things have driven you into this, and I wish there was something I could do to help. I'm flattered to by your compliments, and just wanted to say that I'll consider the play on pause until such time as you're capable of returning to it, or to something new if we lose the characters in the mean time. Until then, I'll be around if you can pop in from time to time just to say hey.

Life happens, you know, what can you do. It's mediating out to where I'm afforded few moments of luxury, but not what I'm needing as I'm feeling the need to write and spend my vent and frustration else where. Alexia, Danny, Cadian, and the entire story of Collide is what I think about when I'm feeling the need in where I think, for a moment, I might be able to write something.

I actually have free time available today, and tomorrow, but I don't want to make promises. But I also know that I would regret at least not attempting something, I love this story entirely too much to allow us to lose the characters. It will haunt me otherwise.

Make no promises! NO regrets. I can absolutely guarantee you, Cadian will not slip. He's a very well established character for me. Those notebooks I talked about, I was writing about him, and he's been around a while now. So don't feel like you have to. I would love to read it if you do, but if you can't its cool. I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that it's worth the wait.

Considering the ambiance of Alexia and Cadian, and Danny.

I've started writing here, I think you'll enjoy it, it's a way to get back into the Badlands with a little padding to backbone the history of it all. It'll be a wonderful establishment on how the bridge way began.

That is fantastic news! I'm all a bundle of anticipation now. I can't wait to read it. I'm hoping that the return to the written word means that things are getting better on your end. I'm totally stoked about getting back into this.

It all feels like a change. A new act in the story. The setting and major players are well introduced, so now we move.

I'm updating Cadian's look. did a small edit on the image on my cellphone, but not overly sure about it. I wish I had an image editing program on my computer, but I rarely have time with it. I'm thinking of trying to do a nameplate, so that the character header on posts doesn't look so choppy and disproportioned.

Hey, he looks great! A little younger, but still a great image for him. I'm a little too attached to my current image for Alexia, not sure if I could bring myself to change it out or update her overall look. It's something to consider though.

Anyways, Friday is my goal to have that new post-chapter-refresher! Stay tuned.

Turns out I had to work all through the weekend, new shift leads and people transferring - hooray.
I work tomorrow morning, so hopefully my evening will be available to finish what I have started.

Hopefully! I'm all excited to read it. Cannot wait. I know how it is getting all unexpectedly busy and all. Lately that seems to be the way of things, I think I have some time, and then something comes up, or something happens, and bam... busy again. I can't remember the last time I caught a break.
