{"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life"} -Winston Churchill
| Full Name | William Charles Blake
| Nickname | Will - Mostly everyone but his mom calls him this. He thinks William sounds a little too pretentious.
| Birth Date | January 14th, 1997
| Age | Nineteen
| Classification | Sophomore
| Gender | Male
| Sexuality | Heterosexual
| Alias | The Mentalist
| Role | Hero
| Loyalty | Mayweather
| In Depth Appearance | Some might find it hard to believe that Will is a sophomore in college, due to his young looking face. He's tried to stop the disbelief by getting a tattoo on his forearm, although it hasn't really helped. He has dark brown eyes, and hair the same color that he keeps done up, which takes way less time than someone might think. As for his body, standing at 6'2 he's thin and lanky, with a little bit of muscle definition, but for the most part, he looks like any average person. After all, his power doesn't really require him to be physically fit. His attire generally consists of flannels and joggers, and he'll rarely be seen in anything more formal than that.
| Habits | Quirks | Oddities | - Nail Biting -Finger Tapping -Lifting things up into the air with his powers when he's thinking
| Hobbies | - Reading - Sleeping - Watching movies - Hanging out with friends
| Likes | - Cheesesteaks - Mystery novels - A decent nap - A good pun - Rom-coms - Dogs and cats - Winning - Chess
| Dislikes | - Snakes - Spiders - Meat loaf - Running - Michael Bay movies - Sci-fi books - Checkers - Losing
| Fears | - Snakes. Literally any kind of snake. - Spiders, but really only the big ones. - Dying alone or losing the people he cares about. - Dying without making a difference.
| Personality Traits | - Funny - Charming - Charismatic - Intelligent - Loyal - Overly Competitive - Unforgiving - Hot Headed - Arrogant - Issues With Authority - Daddy Issues - Needs to be the best
| Personality | Will is your typical nice guy. He's a joker and a charmer, and he's hard not to like. He's incredibly smart and resourceful as well, and loves a good puzzle or challenge. Along with all this comes the fact that if Will is your friend, he's your friend for life. He'd follow those he cares about to hell and back, even if they wouldn't do the same for him. He values loyalty above all else, and those who show it automatically gain some of his respect.
On the other side of the spectrum though, Will has a darker side. He holds grudges for the longest time, and isn't one to just simply forgive and forget. And as intelligent as he is, he's just as hot headed, and when he goes off, it's best to not be around. He's a bit too competitive at times, and has an unconscious need to be the best, a result of the immense pressure that was put on him by his father years ago. This pressure also led to an issue with taking orders, or as his counselor calls it, "authority issues." He's also rather arrogant, a direct result as being the only powered student at his high school, not to mention the smartest one.
| Abilities | Telekinesis - Will's main ability is to move things with his mind. He can lift up people and objects up to around 350 pounds. At that point he has far less control, and it takes much more energy. He can lift himself off the ground as well, although it is rather tiring and makes him very nauseous.
Telepathy - Will has very minor telepathy. He can sense people's emotions, which can sometimes leave him feeling the same way.
| Limitations | Plenty of things limit Will's powers. If something is too heavy he won't be able to lift it, and if someone has a particularly strong mind he won't be able to get a reading on their emotions. Since both of his abilities stem from his brain, being tired will keep him from full strength, and anything that keeps him from focusing will keep him from using his powers. Extended use will also leave him feeling too tired to lift anything heavier than a pencil.
| Place Of Origin | Willow Creek, California
| Family | Melissa Blake - A former hero who went by the alias of Solara. She could manipulate light.
Lucas Blake - A seemingly normal human, Lucas Blake is a kind man, although he can be a bit harsh. Unbeknownst to his son and his wife, he was a graduate from Delphina, and a former villain himself, a pyrokinetic by the name of Phosphorus.
| History | Born to the seemingly average Blake family in the extremely average town of Willow Creek, Will was anything but. From the day he was born, his father told him all the things heroes did, and how he was going to do those things as well. To his parents' joy he was an advanced child, although he didn't display even a hint of powers until the age of four.
The first day he did show off his powers he was chasing after his mom in the backyard, a normal game of tag. His mother, much too fast for him to catch, suddenly felt something tugging her back. Having dealt with plenty of telekinetics, she knew immediately what was going on. She and Lucas threw Will an amazing celebration, thrilled that there would be another hero in the family. Will had no idea what was going on, but from that day on, his life changed.
His mother trained him to control his powers, taught him discipline, while his father coached him in expanding his mind, strengthening it. His dad was always a harsher teacher, and this lead to a rift that grew as Will aged. During his high school years he fought frequently with his dad, who'd have preferred him to stay home and train than to go out with friends. Will had a rebellious few years during that time, where he did pretty much anything that his dad didn't want him to do.
This rebellion slowed down as he neared college age and was granted admittance into Mayweather, where he made plenty of new friends. There his dads training payed off, as he proved to be one of the stronger students in his class, although he'd never admit this. He doesn't quite know how to feel about the merging of the schools, he just tries to keep his distance from the Delphina kids.
{"History will be kind to me for I intend to write it."} -Winston Churchill
| Full Name | Brenna Marie Lancaster
| Nickname | Ice Queen - A reference to her powers, though only people who dislike her call her this.
| Birth Date | February 2nd, 1997
| Age | 19
| Classification | Sophomore
| Gender | Female
| Sexuality | Heterosexual
| Alias | Snow Angel
| Role | Villain
| Loyalty | Delphina
| In Depth Appearance | By all conventional standards, Brenna is attractive. She has flawless ivory skin that contrasts beautifully with her long dark hair. She's tall, about 5'11 and is slender, with a decent amount of muscle definition, especially in her legs, a result of her years on the track team. Her intelligent hazel eyes and her constant smile give her a mischievous look, which fits her personality. She dresses to show off her assets, wearing short dresses and tight clothes, knowing that everyone is easier to control if they want you.
| Habits | Quirks | Oddities | - When she's nervous, she will cool the air around her subconsciously - Bites nails - Twirls hair around her finger
| Hobbies | - Running - Training - Drawing
| Likes | - Art, particularly Van Gogh - Snow - Winter - Snowball fights - A good training session - Morning runs - Cute boys - Dogs - Birds - Her friends
| Dislikes | - Losing - Being made fun of - Stupid people - Arrogance - Heroes - The beach - Romance movies - Trivial Pursuit - Authority
| Fears | - One of Brenna's biggest fears is that she's at her strongest point power wise, and that she's going to peak and never get better. - Dying.
| Personality Traits | - Charismatic - Manipulative - Intelligent - Good friend - Hot headed - Abandonment Issues - Caring - Closed off
| Personality | Brenna Lancaster is the definition of damaged. Her father's abandonment of her and her mother when she was a child left her closed off to making new friends, and as a result she has very few. She doesn't like authority, and doesn't quite trust the system. She seems to think that everyone is out to get her in fact, and has a hard time trusting people. She has no qualms about using her good looks and charisma to get others to do what she wants, in fact she's known for it, that and her temper.
But Brenna isn't all bad once you get to know her. She can be a caring friend, and a loyal one as well. She'll defend her friends to the end as well, just ask some of the boys from her former high school who crossed her best friend. Icicles can do quite a lot of damage. She's quite intelligent too, although she tends to hide it away at times.
| Abilities | Cryokinesis - Brenna can make and manipulate snow and ice, and can turn the air around her colder. She can create and shape ice that is considerably more durable than if it had been made naturally.
Cold Resistance - Brenna is far more resistant to cold and is even rejuvenated by it.
| Limitations | Since Brenna's powers work by taking moisture out of the air, her powers get weaker in particularly dry climates, and she can't use her powers when her body temperature is above average.
| Place Of Origin | New York City, New York
| Family | Rowena Lancaster - A perfectly normal middle aged woman who runs a bakery in New York.
| History | Brenna's parents had a whirlwind love affair while her father was in New York on business. He was a married man who left Rowena Lancaster with a child and a broken heart that she would never recover from. When Brenna was born, she did her best to pretend that she was happy but even as a child, she could see the sadness in her mother's eyes.
When Brenna was five, her powers were discovered when she froze the bath that her mother had drawn for her. Her mom had been overjoyed, and as Brenna got older she came to believe that this was because her father had been a powered. Now she was like him, a fact that she resented and her mother praised. Her mom couldn't much teach her to control her powers, so Brenna was forced to teach herself, which made her quite the independent child.
In her high school years, Brenna was never very popular. She was one of the few powered students at her high school, and was bullied for her difference. She began to believe that normal people didn't deserve the freedom they got, which they used to put others down, at least in her experience. She did find her niche on the track team, where she one quite a few medals, although many students claimed it was because she was a "freak."
Brenna couldn't have been happier to get out of New York and go to Delphina, where she found herself among like minded students. She became popular there and made more friends in one year than she had in her entire lifetime. And then it came crashing down, when the school burned to the ground. Her best friend and roommate, Lilly, was killed in the fire, which she blames on the Mayweather students, despite a complete lack of evidence.

| Full Name | Avalon Cressida Middleton
| Nickname | None. She thinks Avalon is too pretty a name to bastardize it.
| Birth Date | October 1st, 1997
| Age | 19
| Classification | Sophomore
| Gender | Female
| Sexuality | Heterosexual
| Alias | Tesla
| Role | Hero
| Loyalty | Mayweather
| In Depth Appearance | 5'9 with long legs, long red tresses, full lips, and flawless skin, Avalon Middleton knows she's hot. She's got a slender frame, not excessively toned, but toned none the less. Her eyes are a bright green, emerald some might say, and they compliment her hair nicely. She dresses in expensive clothes, designer dresses and shoes, and sunglasses that cost the same amount as a used car. Nothing but the best for Avalon Middleton.
| Habits | Quirks | Oddities | - Bites lip - Taps out songs with her fingers - Doodles on the back of her hands
| Hobbies | - Singing - Playing Piano - Shopping
| Likes | - Flirting - Winning - Hanging out with friends - Classical music - Shopping - Fashion - Romance Novels - Cats
| Dislikes | - Douchebags - Villains - Mind Readers - People with poor fashion sense - Losing - Scene-It, because her memory is awful - Corn on the cob - Cheesy horror movies - Michael Cera
| Personality | To most of those that don't know her, Avalon is the prefect package. She's intelligent and resourceful, and is known for her good grades. She's also flirty, and loves to toy around with the boys, particularly the freshman, just to get a reaction. In that sense you could even say she's an attention seeker. To her friends, she's a tad bit more. Caring and kind, though she would never outright show these traits, she'll go out of her way to help her friends feel better, though not without a snarky comment at the end. She also has a love for adventure and is the host of the annual Mayweather Scavenger Hunt.
But to those who do truly know her, Avalon is far from perfect. She hides her caring nature behind a wall of sarcastic and snarky snipes, and is quite the manipulative young lady, who has no qualms about using others for her own personal gain. She's also a bit of an elitist, and sees heroes as more worthy of things than villains, and for this reason looks down on the students from Delphina.
| Abilities | Electrokinesis - Avalon can generate and manipulate electricity. She's able to expel it from her body in the form of lightning bolts or simply through an electric touch.
Faster than Lightning - When using her power, Avalon's speed is slightly enhanced, and her reflexes are increased.
| Limitations | Avalon needs to charge herself up before using her powers, which is done by rubbing her hands together, rather quickly, or absorbing electricity from some sort of appliance. The longer she charges, the more voltage her electricity will carry. After 24 hours any residual electricity will dissipate.
| Place Of Origin | Hollywood, California
| Family | Emmaline Middleton nee Levi - A sad woman who's been lost in a bottle since the death of her husband, her family always disapproved of her affair with Avalon's father. She has no powers, except for an intense tolerance for alcohol, although Avalon is 98% sure that this isn't an actual super power.
Olivia Middleton - A strict woman who taught Avalon to keep her feelings locked up. She was mostly responsible for Avalon's upbringing, due to her daughter's alcoholism.
Alexander Middleton - Deceased - Alexander Middleton, the hero known as the original Tesla, was killed while Avalon when Avalon was still a child. He'd tracked down the villain known as Phosphorous, but was killed doing so. This event led to Avalon's hatred for villains.
| History | From what Avalon has been able to piece together, her parents had a fairy tale romance. Her mother met her father at a gala that he had snuck into and they had a whirlwind romance that resulted in a marriage and a pregnancy all in the span of four months. Her mother's family cast her out, but the couple didn't care. They were young and in love, and none of that mattered. When Avalon was born, Alexander swore he'd give up being Tesla, but that lasted a whole one month. Saving people was what he was meant to do and he couldn't just take a step back from that.
Avalon's worst day came when her mother told her that her father wouldn't be coming home. She was five years old but she remembers every detail. It was raining, as if the world was shedding tears for her father. After that, they returned to her mother's family, where they were taken in. The Levi's were a wealthy family and they supported the mother and daughter, though they never failed to speak ill of Alexander, much to their chagrin.
As Avalon grew up she was taught to be prim and proper, to dress like a lady and act like one too. She liked the idea of dressing nicely, but acting like a stuck up priss never suited her. She was much more suited to hurling insults that had nothing to do with someone's class in life, much to her grandmother's chagrin. Her powers wouldn't reveal themselves until rather recently, at the age of 14 to be exact. After accidentally shocking a boy into a seizure with just a kiss.
To have a chance to be rid of the world of the Levi's was a thrill to her, and she trained everyday just to be good enough to go to Mayweather, where she became a popular student, and began the tradition of the Middleton Scavenger Hunt. When the fire happened, Avalon was indifferent, seeing it as something that the villains deserved, and was outraged to discover she'd be sharing her campus with them.

Clique: The Artsy Crowd. Oli's one of the more senior members of the drama club and is a whiz with a camera. What People Say: When everyone thinks he isn't listening, Oli is the kid who's brother died. The sob story. And also Hardcore Hamlet. Not many drama kids can chug a bottle of Smirnoff like Oli can. Politically: Dirty Liberal Nationality: American Ethnicity: Whiter than white bread. Religion: Agnostic
║ Occupation ║
Oli is a waiter at the local diner.
║ Appearance ║
Oli's hot. He sure as hell doesn't think so, but everyone else certainly does. His shaggy, dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes are the source of plenty of admiration. He's around six feet, not the tallest kid at school, but not short by any means. He's built thanks to the few days a week he spends at the school's gym, but he clearly isn't a football player. His smile is infectious though, and when his lips curl into a grin his whole face joins them. Blemish wise, Oli got lucky. His skin is relatively clear, aside from the smattering of freckles that cover his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. The most notable marking on him is the scar on his chin, the one mark from the car accident that he was in last April.
Perhaps the thing that draws the most attention to Oli is his presence. When he walks into a room, he owns it. His confidence seems to silently announce his arrival. He walks with a swagger, even in the face of recent tragedies. When he walks, he walks with purpose. He doesn't move around groups, he moves through them. Such is the way of Oli Nichols.
What You See: Four words. Pain. In. The. Ass. Oli is loud and obnoxious, to the point that many instantly think of him as that one annoying asshole. Those who don't know him well enough thinks he's an annoying attention whore, who'd rather be up on stage or behind a camera than in a classroom. In short, he's not exactly extremely well liked by those he's not close with, especially most of the quieter more reserved kids.
What I Know: To those that really know Oli, he's the nicest guy you could ever know, which is a bit of a miracle considering the events of the past year. He's one of those people who truly cares about others, someone who goes out of his way to help others. While he can be obnoxious and annoying at times, he does care about people's feelings. He's also a great friend, loyal to a fault. If Oli is your friend, and more likely than not he is, he'll stand by your side through pretty much anything. But Oli's most memorable trait, perhaps the one that everyone knows him by, is his sense of humor. He loves to laugh and make others do so, and it's what has helped him get so into his stage productions.
While Oli doesn't hide much of himself from others, he does feel the need to hide bits and pieces. Since the car accident last April, Oli has been different. He's far more controlling than normal, and hates leaving things to chance. He's also considerably more stubborn and rarely allows any other way but his way. Oli's temper has also been flaring up more and more. He's hurt, but he won't let anyone see that. Not now, and if he has his way, not ever.

║ Brief History ║
When Jameson Nichols came back to town with a young woman on his arm and a wedding ring on his finger, everyone was shocked. His new bride was two months pregnant and everyone thought that it must have been a shotgun wedding. Jameson was going places they all said. He was too young to just marry some random girl from Boston and move back home. But that's exactly what he did. Seven months later, Jameson and his wife Lucy had not one, not two, but three kids on their hands. Oliver, Madison, and Lucas. The Nichols Triplets.
The Nichols quickly settled in. Jameson, a lawyer, got a job at a small law firm in town and Lucy became the assistant librarian, and read to the younger town kids on the weekends. As the oldest, Oli became the more or less leader of the troublesome trio, who were inseparable from the moment they lay eyes on one another. The three kids spent time running rampant around their mother's library and their father's office. Their dad was one of the only lawyers in town, so his practice was often booked, but their mom would regularly read to them. The library wasn't exactly a hub of business.
As Oli grew older, he found his place on stage. He began acting in the elementary school plays when he was in second grade, and from there on out he wanted nothing other than a life in the spotlight. He loved to entertain people and everyone knew it. In school he was the class clown, and the teacher's worst nightmare.
Entering high school was a surprisingly easy transition for the triplets. Oli was already well acquainted with upperclassmen from his time in the theatre, not to mention the size of their town. Madison excelled socially, and always had, but Lucas was different. As his siblings spread their wings, he preferred to stay quiet and reserved. He never did grow out of that. Sophomore year, in April, Lucas was driving Madison and Oli home from school after Oli's performance in the spring play. One second the triplets were singing along to Hamilton. The next, their car was upside down in a ditch.
The incident was the first major tragedy in quite some time. While Oli and Madison made it out fine, Lucas was killed. Oli and Madison spent the rest of the year on independent study, and let only their closest friends see them over the summer. It was a hard time. But with the new year rolling around, Oli is determined to make the most of it. While his sister will continue studying at home, he's taking his junior year by storm. He knows damn well that's what Lucas would've wanted, and he's not about to live his life in a dark room, crying.

Oli has a reputation as being a hilarious creative genius. A bit of a partier, people know him as someone who can have a good time, and who can help others do the same. And everyone knows his strengths on stage, in front of and behind the camera.
║ Best subjects, Worst subjects ║
While Oli isn't a genius, he does pretty well in a few classes. English has always been his strong suit, as has History. He finds that the stories of people long dead come easily to him. Conversely, he is trash when it comes to any Math or Science, and he's had to retake Chemistry once before.

║ Appearance ║
By all conventional standards, Madison is beautiful. She's slender, with a body that implies she works out and eats healthy. Her hair falls just past her shoulders, silky and dirty blonde. Her deep blue eyes draw you in, and make you feel as if you are the only person she could even dream of thinking of. Her skin clear, except for the smattering of freckles across her nose, something she shares with her brother. She's not nearly as tall as him though, standing at about 5'5".
Fashion wise, Madi dresses to impress. She puts a solid hour, at least, into her outfit everyday, always making sure that she leaves a lasting impression in peoples minds. She prefers to wear dresses or skirts, though she's not adverse to skinny jeans or even the occasional pair of leggings. She often toes the line between conservative and revealing, a fact which is not lost on her in the slightest.
What You See: To the outside world, Madison Nichols is cold and calculating. She can be sweet and caring, but only towards those she's close with, and to most people, they appear to be on her bad side. Most people wonder how in the hell she and Oli are related, let alone twins. While Oli is outgoing and openly affectionate, Madison has a cold shell, and it doesn't seem to melt easily.
While most can't say they particularly enjoy Madison, plenty respect her. She's very intelligent, well known for making the honor roll every year, and she's a great leader. She's a planner and a doer, and she knows how to get shit done. No one can say otherwise. She just isn't particularly open to much help, and is, as Oli sometimes says, "a bossy bitch who can't let anyone help." He got grounded for that one.
Now days though, Madison is clearly not the person she used to be. Her confident stature is gone, and she doesn't bite back with her usual quips. While plenty of kids hated Madison for one reason or another, it's hard to summon any loathing for her now.
What I Know: In truth, Madison Nichols is a girl wracked with insecurities. She's a major control freak, but only because she's terrified of failure and letting people down. She also has a deep seeded fear of commitment, and because of this, her trust is hard to earn. She is, deep down, a caring girl, and loyal to her friends, she just finds it very hard to express such feelings. All of this is only known to her closest friends, or her family. Madi would rather have the rest of the world see her how they want to, rather than as the mess she really is.

║ Brief History ║
When looking back on Madi's life, it's easy to see how she became such a hardcore bitch. She had to be. The only girl out of three siblings, she was forced to fight for attention, and her parents never faltered when she used her puppy dog eyes. She was spoiled, that much was for sure. While Oli was the leader of the triplets, Madi was definitely the charisma.
As the triplets grew up, this became far more evident. Madi was always bringing home new friends, and soon it felt like their entire grade had been to the Nichols house one time or another. Everyone loved Madi, or at least they pretended to. Upon entering high school, Madi found that she adapted to it far better than Lucas. She loved the social games that were played, and the socializing that was to be had. While Oli's place was the stage, Madi's was the hallway, strutting down it like it was a catwalk.
After the incident, Madi found life far more gloomier. She shut most everyone out, and retreated into her room for the rest of sophomore year, and well into the summer. There was even talk of her not returning to school this year, though Oli convinced her to come back, if not for him then for Lucas. Going into junior year, she's far less concerned with her reputation and far more concerned with her future.
║ Extra Curricular Activities & Sports ║
Madi is on the Varsity Girls Soccer Team and also on the Dance Committee.
║ Reputation ║

Madi has always excelled in History and English like her brother, although her art skills aren't nearly the same. She actually does rather well in all of her classes, though Art gives her a little bit of trouble, and she's always had to put in more effort than normal with Chemistry.
To Logan's disdain, he definitely takes after his father, at least as far as his appearance is concerned. He has the same pale skin that seems to be present in all of the Gallows men, and his hair is far darker than that of his mother's and his sisters'. His eyes are a mossy green, somewhere in between hazel and emerald, with flecks of gold. His face is almost constantly wearing a visage of concentration, and it gives him a rather intimidating look at times, despite his scrawniness and clear lack of athleticism.
Logan certainly believes in dressing nicely, and makes it a rule to dress as well as his family's money will allow. With this penchant for dressing nicely comes an air of confidence, one that seems mismatched with his scrawny frame and clear lack of social skills. Never the less, Logan walks around like he owns the town, which is so far from the truth, it would be laughable if the reality wasn't so tragic.
● P E R S O N A L I T Y ●
Logan takes great pride in knowing that he is nothing like his father, far from it in fact. He's a motivated child, driven and constantly becoming dead set on achieving new goals. He's confident and caring, willing to go out of the way to help others, even when the only thing he can offer is a comforting word. He's creative and intelligent as well, with a mind much like his sister's. He's going places, and the whole of Verona knows it.
Unfortunately, Logan did inherit some aspects of his father's personality. His temper, for one. Logan is prone to angry outbursts, generally caused by someone going after someone he cares about in someway. He won't stand for that. With these outbursts, Logan has a penchant for falling into a rather depressed state, and blaming himself for many of the issues that plague him, a nasty place for any child to be. Ultimately, Logan's greatest enemy is himself, and he often has the most trouble fighting against the destructive thoughts he has.
● R O M A N T I C I N T E R E S T S ●
Logan has had a few crushes on girls throughout the years, but he's really never given much thought to a girlfriend. Right now he's more focused on books, crazy inventions, and getting out of Verona.

Congrats, you have superpowers now. What are people going to write in your eventual biography? You probably don't need to list every single embarrassing moment you don't want the public to know, but we do need your general life story and how you discovered your powers, and how that affected your life.

State your power and sum up your fan-freaking-tastic superpower in about one word; you're going to need to know how to describe it briefly for all of those bragging rights. Examples: "telekinesis", "fire manipulation", "metal manipulation". Make sure it doesn't infringe on another power.
Remember, duplicate powers can exist; no reservations. You don't have to worry about if someone else has that ability.

Ascendant, Olympian, Mastermind, Mystic or Aberration? Be sure to read the OOC carefully. GMs reserve the right to reclassify your power. If you are unsure, leave blank on character submission and we'll tell you.

Describe what you can do with said power in more detail. The limitations should be set quite low to begin with, as superpowers are like a muscle: you need to exercise them for them to grow stronger.

Although you might be the next savior or the world (or villainous mastermind, depending on how you roll) you definitely have individual problems above and beyond the side-effects for using any power. What are they? Any drawbacks?
