Is this based off anything, or an original universe? I may want to join... Could I be one of the "horrible results" of a Attuned Arraxi? I'd be a scientist who almost died during the "Pulse" due to organ breakdown, but survived due to Life magic which mutated him into a hulking cannibalistic insectiod.

It's not based off of anything, it more or less started as tired rambling that kinda got here somehow. I like your idea, but I would still have to mention that your character would have to get all of the prosthetic bits to survive.

@Heckno12 Oh no! The whole point of the character is that he was mostly mechanical, like most Arraxi, and only didn't die because of life magic. Since his new biological form is sort of what a young Frankenstein would put out for a science fair, it is always unstable and he needs to consume other creatures for their biological matter to replace his constantly breaking down body.

@PsychoNeurosis Don't be sorry. I was just seeing if you would be comfortable if one of the members was inviting or not. I can understand. I do get uncomfortable hopping in when there is already so many posts.
