Ferris let out a surprised squeak at being pulled closer. So much was happening... it almost felt to surreal. It didn't feel like he was being taken forcefully from his home. Rather, it was as if he was traveling to a new place, and it was all very exciting. There was no point in being angry or sad, after all!

All he needed was someone or something to hold onto. It seemed even the ditzy merman knew to remain as silent as he could in such a dire situation.

From the other side of the door, a voice rang out clear as day. "RUS! IT'S ME! Hyatt! What the hell do you think you're doing? Eh? The whole colony knows what you've been doing! You twat!" Hyatt sighted. His fellow rokea had always been very impulsive, but this was taking it to a different level.

Rus kept his hand over Feris' mouth until he heard who it was. Hyatt. Of course they sent him. He and Rus had been like brothers for years. Rus was in trouble now. Hyatt had always been the more logical of the pair. Thinking when Rus acted. It was a rare trait to see in a Rokea but it was one. Rus let go of Ferris and walked over to open the door. Once he had done so he backed away from it.

"Alright Hyatt. Come in then. Only you though." He said waiting for the other Rokea to walk in. Once he was in Rus looked him over. He looked just as he remembered him. "You know what I am doing. It's the only way to save us all. It's better than charging them again and again. Hyatt we are being exterminated like vermin. I won't allow us to die out just because our leaders think they are right." He said holding his ground. If he could convince Hyatt to help him... He doubted it would work but he owed Hyatt the attempt.

After Rus gave him what seemed like permission, Hyatt kicked the open door open further, and snickered as he shuffled in. He was soaking wet, and smelled of the salty sea breeze. Hyatt was a tall rokea, about an inch taller than Rus. He had a few freckles that dotted his sharp nose and cheeks, as well as twin green eyes that sparkled like a cat's. Dark, matted, and drenched hair clung to his face and neck. He wasn't as muscular as Rus, but still managed to make Ferris look like a seahorse in comparison.

Lips pulled into a frown, he sighed, stopping just a few feet away from the merman and his captor. "You..." He pointed roughly to Ferris. Rokea could care less for etiquette, and Hyatt was no exception. "This... you're..." He glared angrily, seemingly unsure on what to do. Suddenly, he jerked Rus' shoulder.

"Man, what're you thinkin'?" He hissed in a similar dialect to Rus. "He... This can't be any good."

Rus was angry. Well not at Hyatt. He was angry about Hyatt not getting it. He was trying to save their species. He would need help but getting it from Hyatt. That seemed unlikely. Which was sad. The two of them had grown up together. The two were born around the same time. Rus was a few weeks older but that did not count. They had fought each other since they were pups. Wrestling in the sand. It usually was 50/50. They both had an advantage. Hyatt was a bit faster than Rus but Rus had the strength advantage. Their fights would last for hours. Heck they had started as rivals. Eventually became friends.

Rus looked from Ferris to Hyatt. The trademark Rokea charms at their finest... They were not known to be subtle...

Rus looked at his best friend. "Dude... I'm saving our kind. He knows where the Kingdom is. Ya. That Kingdom. " He said referencing an old tale they were told when they were little. "Hyatt. I need you to help me. The colony is most likely pissed at me. But you are either with me or against me. You know I can't hurt you. Not after what we've been through. So join me. Help me. " He said evenly. He always had been more eloquent than Hyatt. Which was not saying much...
