I've been CRAVING a Witcher roleplay that involves Ciri in some way, shape or form. There are a couple of plots/directions I have in mind that are very flexible. A generic knowledge of the series is necessary I suppose, but you could find stuff out on Wikipedia and reading for maybe ten minutes. We can obviously work on stuff as we go to make things work. I'm not a big fan of sticking to canon, so alternative universe helps avoid having to know a ton about the universe.
Anyway, here are the ideas. Shoot me a PM and we can plot :)

Geralt x Ciri:
With the Wild Hunt gone, Ciri has taken on the mantle of Witcheress and Geralt has settled into a comfortable life in Kovir with Triss. During a contract on one of the isles of Skellige, Ciri discovers the ruins of a massive city hidden in a cave. When she examines further, the middle of the cave sinks into the earth, a portal becoming visible. This disturbs Ciri, seeing as it was due to these rips in time that the Wild Hunt was able to invade their world and quickly finds Geralt and Triss. Both father and daughter set out on a journey to try and figure out how to close the portal. (much more on this! Just the beginning)
OC x Ciri:
While on the road, Ciri discovers a notice specifically calling for a "witcheress" to deal with a specific problem in Novigrad. The contract issuer turns out to be a Witcher of the Viper school, who claims that there are sorcerers attempting to bring the Witcher schools back into existence. For what reasons the Witcher is unclear, but he wants to find out and will need the help of Ciri in order to uncover their motivations (romance in this one)
