Peaky Blinders: watch the first episode on Netflix. you'll be hooked.
Sense8: yeah for some reason the Wachowskies think everyone in the world is gay. though for writing and acting, it was like my third favorite show of all time after Star Trek (all series) and Peaky Blinders.
Supernatural: i would start with season 4. they actually grow up lol. but i stopped at season 10 cuz they started getting repetitive.
AJ: again, Netflix. Great New Zealand show about Norse gods reincarnated as people. Super funny and deep storytelling and character arcs, which is rare in superhero/god shows.
Misfits: you must be American (i am too but i know most foreign stuff is better than anything America can make). Misfits is a British show about teen criminals who get superpowers, but like AJ, it's more about the characters than the powers.

Into the Badlands isnt that great of a story or character, but i love the world itself. so beautiful. i just want to make my own story/life there.

For the shows you havent heard of, i recommend just watching a trailer on youtube or something.

@Burning Kitty also, i dont particularly like the Dominion lore or characters either. i more like the "end of the world and now we have an angel civil war" idea. so im gonna make that, and im gonna add a Mad Max-like element regarding muscle cars and big chase scenes. if you dont want to join, thats ok. i will probably make the Z Nation RP tomorrow

Z Nation's pretty cool. Into the Badlands is my favorite choice however

yeah ive only gotten through 4 episodes of Into the Badlands. i watch one episode every two or three weeks. i like the Baron as a character. sufficiently multi-facetted. but everyone else is kinda bland. however, i will probably finish watching season 1 before i make that RP. then again, in the Ephraim's Dominion RP there could be a territory that looks beautiful like the "badlands", and maybe there are barons and clippers (i hate that word) in that territory only.

Ah and that's exactly why I see it as having great RP potential! The world and idea are unique and would create a great setting, but the characters don't have much too them. Thus, it's our job with our characters to breathe life into our own characters and make the story come alive! Makes sense to finish watching before you try an RP about it though

i think im gonna finish watching it before i do anything, but i do also think im going to go with the idea of adding a Badlands territory into my original RP. i dont want to have too many TV RPs going on. That's why i made Ephraim's Dominion. it's kinda an all-around apocalypse RP
