Viem is a vibrant, extravagant city whose populace is a wide variety of humans and supernatural beings, working side-by-side and building a better home for all. The beings have always lived in the shadows in fear for such a long time, existing in fairy tales and urban legends until Viem’s government opened its arms and accepted them as one of their own. Now, it thrives with an interesting night-life and inviting shopping centers to all who visit or live there.
Then again, with such a wide variety of people and beings, things are bound to get a little out of hand.
A new drug has come onto the scene of Viem’s top secret black market: Morride, a black tar-like substance infused with magic that is ingested or injected into people with the promise of “making the strongest people invincible”. Foolhardy humans tend to be victims of this narcotic, believing they have what it takes to handle it and become stronger than any human in the city. Little do they know that, instead of being able to turn into a god-like creature, they become grotesque, disfigured beings with wholly black eyes and a thirst for chaos. With the new epidemic came the decision to create a task force under the Mayor’s jurisdiction: The Coalition for Eradication of Illegal Magic (CEIM).
This group seeks out to stop magic from being used for rather dastardly reasons, currently investigating and sniffing out dangerous Morride-infected beings before they become a deadly threat to civilians. Unfortunately, despite not being their primary mode of handling the situation, they’ve needed to resort to execution as there seems to be no way to reverse the effects of the drug. The drug is so strong however, that many operatives have begun to die at its hand. It acts like an incurable plague, taking over the body of the consumer through the blood and triggering a quick change in the body’s cells. It is unstoppable, and takes on a person like a parasite. Its hold on the host is like a vice grip, refusing to let go.
That is, except for one certain person.
It started as just a normal operation of following a target who was proven to have acquired the drug and exhibited signs of ingestion of Morride, where the same pattern was being followed: they began to lose focus, eyes dilating, veins going black, staggering, sensitivity to loud noises, public spaces, and light, and the eventual erratic facial twitches. The target moved to the alleyway and the chase ensued. Yet, as they approached the end of the alley, having seemingly cornered their target, the CEIM operatives realized that the symptoms had all vanished, and that the person survived; all back to normal except for the fact their irises had turned heterochromatic, one red and one pitch black.
That’s when they grabbed this person for questioning, having bagged a possible link to the mastermind behind the Morride epidemic.

The RP is centered around the CEIM and this mysterious person and their interactions as well as the chase for Morride-infected and the mastermind behind it all. It’s pretty open-ended from there and it needs to still have some development in the plot. Thus, I’m looking for these qualities in a partner:

[1.] Be capable of offering some ideas for the story and helping along its development.

[2.] Be able to handle a few characters (I’m not saying like ten, but maybe two or three to help keep things lively) and create bio sheets for them.

[3.] Be able to write with good quality (I like to aim for about one and a half to two paragraphs regularly, with some longer posts if I feel like it. Just as long as there aren’t one-liners, I’m pretty happy).

[4.] Be able to handle 18+ (I’m not talking smut or BDSM, but actually violence and some rather heavy-hitting subjects that can often come with such an urban setting).

[5.] Be able to post semi-regularly (not daily, I can’t even do that; perhaps four times a week or so. I’m understanding of real life matters however).

That’s all for now! Hope to talk to you soon! ^~^
