He smiles as she drives away. He hops into the Viper, driving to Hertz. Vale follows him and picks him up then brings him back to the hospital. They park and wait in the toy hauler.

By the time Ele and Kate returned, both women were laughing and clutching their stomachs as they pulled up. Ele put the car in park and Kate escaped from the passenger side,

"What have you done to her?!"

She gasped leaning on the car as Ele continued her giggle fit from the driver's side,

"She could barely keep a Prius straight and now she's freaking Danica Patrick?!"

Gettiing out of the Miata, Ele wiped tears off her cheeks as she wandered back to Tyler,

"We cruised for a bit, then I found an empty lot and showed her how I can do donuts."

He laughs and pulls Ele in, holding her hips.

"Just imagine, that car is only about 500 horsepower right now, it could be set at 1,200 horsepower with a little tweaking."

Smiling at her he says.

"But you gotta admit, that was fun."

Ele asked a little while later. They had stood in the parking lot having fun and talking, but Ele was getting tired now. She was leaning heavily on Tyler, her head on his shoulder.

Nodding quietly, Ele got up and went to Kate. The two women hugged tightly, their years of friendship showing.

"Love you Katie-cat."

Ele said softly,

"Love you Ele-belle."

Releasing one another after a few more moments, Ele smiled then went back to Tyler,

"Let's get going home, babe."

Tyler smiles and holds onto Ele.

"Hope to see you soon, Kate. I think you will love the drag races. I have a 200 mph plus drag car you can see."

He smiles and walks over to the Miata with Ele, holding the door open for her then hopping in his side. He turns it on and gets ready to head out with Vale and everybody else.

As they pulled out of the parking lot, Ele felt a strange fluttering feeling and she couldn't help but smile at Tyler,

"This us really happening, isn't it?"

She asked, almost in disbelief,

"This is a whole new chapter of life! Did you ever envision yourself doing this?"

Reaching over, Ele placed her hand on Tyler's thigh and smiled as they drove out of the city. Looking out the window, Ele,didn't feel one twinge of regret or sadness, only happiness and excitement for their future.

Smirking, Ele pointed towards the Northeast,

"Two hours that way for the heart of wine country! Napa Valley!"

Shifting in her seat, Ele crossed her legs to settle in for the drive,

"Highway 101, then keep going towards Walnut Creek and Concord until you get to I-680 north and just stay on that and follow the signs for Napa!"

"Little out of the way but hey, what is 2 hours out of a 1 day trip?"

He says with a smile, taking off to wine country. He gets on Highway 101 following the signs. As they reach the interstate Eric pulls up alongside them with the Corvette he smirks and takes off. Tyler chuckles and brake boosts the Miata launching it and catching up. They keep up the launching and catching up for a while. After some time they stop and just cruise leisurely until they reach the Napa Valley.

"Finally here."

He says cruising between the fields of grapes.

While they had been cruising, Ele rolled down the window and relax back, letting her feet hang out the window. Now she looked at Tyler, her head rolled to the side and a lazy smile on her lips,

"California is so awesome. This climate is similar to the Mediterranean Peninsula, which is why the vineyards can flourish here. Go an hour southeast and you're in prime ag country. Go south of the grapevine and its desert!"

"Speaking of dunes, there is a place about 2 hours from our place that is one of the best and biggest sand dunes in the country. When we get some time we should go out there."

He says as he pulls into a vineyard and specialty food store. He pulls up to the door and parks, Vale pulling up and parking at the edge of the parking lot. They all step out and stretch, before going in.

"That sounds like fun!"

Ele agreed, stretching out her stiff limbs before taking Tyler's hand and going into the store. With some prompting from the Californian born, Ele soon had a couple bottles of wine in her hands, as well as apples and cheeses in a basket on her arm.

Looking to Tyler, Ele held up the two bottles,

"Which one do you think? A rose would be fruitier, but the white would be better with the cheese."
