Back in the car, Alicia sat in the driver's seat and stuck the key in the ignition as Liz dialed up Zain. The guy who caused Liz' injury was lucky they weren't pressing any charges. Alicia turned up the air conditioning due to the warm temperatures outside and also waited for Zain to pick up. She really hoped he would say he would like to hang out; she didn't want to imagine what Liz' reaction would be if he didn't.

Ethan's eyes lit up at the bright new buttons he could press that errupted onto the screen. He pushed the green one and shrieked as the grey sillhouette of a person popped up on the screen, "'adoooh!" he greeted it, kicking his legs with excitement and pushing more buttons, including the loudspeaker button.
In the kitchen, Silkie the dog's ears pricked up and she padded back over to the boy curiously. She sniffed at him, then loudly over the phone, before she grumbled lightly.

Liz laughed as she heard a little boy and what appeared to be a loud dog shrieking unto the phone. She said "hey this is Liz, can I talk to Zain buddy?" She listened as theyboy yelled out for Zain, telling him that there was a girl on the phone for him. She giggled a little and waited as the boy talked to her as Zain was on his way. She looked over at Alicia who was also giggling at the young boys silliness.

Zain frowned, sipping his drink and watched Silkie patter off to Ethan, then shook his head, hearing the boy chatter away. "You could talk the ears off a stone, Ethan.." he reached up to grab one of Ethan's cups when the boy started shouting for him. Zain walked over to him and his eyes widened, "Ethan! You actually rang someone!" He grabbed the phone and winced, seeing the name on the screen. "Hey, I'm so sorry, my little brother's been playing on my phone, he must have called you by accident."

Liz laughs "Actually I called you, he just answered the phone". Liz smiles says "Oh yea, I ended up breaking my arm, I had to get a cast, but um, also, I was wondering I you wanted to hang out tomorrow night? Its ok if you cant, but id love to" Liz winced ad waited for his reply.
