Hi you all, Rig here. I stumbled upon this site while looking up pictures for character inspiration on Google and one of the search results that caught my eye was linked to this site, so here I am!

Started looking around and the site and thought this looked like an interesting place. I have RP'd in MMOs (Star Wars Galaxies, WoW), play a lot of RPGs on Roll20/Skype and I've dabbled, very shortly, in the past in forum play-by-post but it was hard to figure out how to jump into a story line.

I'm interested in play-by-post table top games (prefer games that have a .pdf rulebook available so I don't have to pay as much money to buy a copy if its something I don't own) but also interested in getting into any kind of interesting forum role play that's out there. Interested in fantasy, sci-fi, modern fantasy/horror, steampunk/magicpunk/weird west, or what ever.

As a final note, I live in Asia and have a pretty busy daily work schedule. I don't know if the demographics of this forum are spread out around the world or heavy in the US so while I'd like to be pretty active and responsive I don't think I'll be extremely active when most other users are on. If people are OK with having a player that has delayed responses and interaction that's great, if not I understand and will move on.

Anyways, I look forward to any adventures to come!

I’m not surprised to see your kind here. Many adventurers have traveled this way since the recent troubles had passed. No doubt you’ve heard about the tragedy that befell the community here at the Guild. Some say that the Guildfall, bane of role players, is slowly enveloping the community once again. I don’t know if I believe that, but I have noticed from time to time that posts or players will mysteriously disappear. They disappear without word and without notice, hidden by the leaders of our community. Maybe it’s nothing. But rumors and sideways glances seems to trail in their wake. You see, shortly before Guildfall had occurred similar disappearances were common as well and strange rumor began to ravage even the most common parts of the guild. But until more evidence is uncovered I’ll remain here within this community and so should you. You’ll find interesting role play ideas across all the various topics categories here on the Guild and a few of mine or ones that I participate in as well. However, I would make sure you save your own information before the shadow that fell over the Guild before the fall once again consumes us all. But if you’re still alive before then, I’ll be more than happy to accomodate any role playing needs you may have if I can.

You should talk to some of the others, too. Guildmod has sent you a PM package to add with your new arrival and there are any number of veterans who are more than qualified to answer your questions. Maybe they can tell you more.
