"Evil must not be allowed to exist, any true man of Justice should know these words without being told,", that was the phrase Kyle had grilled into his head since he was a boy. He had been given those words by his father, who said "I love you," many fewer times than that. His father's name was Joshua Drake, currently known as the #1 Detective in the world. With a father like that, it was no surprise that Kyle had big shoes to fill.
As expected of him, Kyle worked his way through life to become an honorable Detective just like his father. It wasn't that Kyle also had the same high sense of justice as his father. In actuality, he was simply amazed by his father and only hoped to be like him. Yet, that had only lasted for a certain amount of time. Kyle's mother was a judge, while also very serious like her husband, was more loving to her son. Still, even with a family filled with such strong vigor, evil still crept its way in. It just so happened that, Kyle's mother, Cynthia, had gotten on the bad side of a serial murderer's brother when she had sentenced the criminal to life sentence. The resulting action caused the brother to seek vengeance and end up shooting down his mother.
This of course, was met with Kyle's rage and sadness. Feeled with such emotions, the young detective pleaded that he be allowed to take the case, but no matter what was said, his father did not allow him to go after his mother's murderer. Even Joshua himself didn't go after the perpetrator, instead he left it to a close friend. The killer was soon caught but without being able to gain closure and being on bad terms with his father, Kyle retired as a detective and took up gardening as his new hobby.
