After the downfall of the highly-influential company TOUE Inc., twenty-three year-old Aoba Seragaki and his comrades are now back returning to their normal lives. Well, with a few changes: Former TOUE android Clear gets his own place, Koujaku is (somewhat) cleansed of his past sins, Noiz goes back to his family in Germany, Allmate Ren gets a body of his own, "twins" Virus and Trip disappear, and the mysterious Mink ventures back into the wilderness. For a while, it just feels normal; like how Aoba wanted it to be. After the discovery of his origins, as well as confronting his alternate personality, Aoba intends to use his telepathic powers for balanced purposes; for the good of his home on the societal Japanese Island of Midorijima, which returned to its original state, after the Platinum Jail was destroyed. All seems stable.

Normal.

However, before the turn-up of two mysterious individuals, Aoba thinks he's the only one with powers. He thought all of Tatso Toue's work was done, but having to cross paths with other teenagers, who seem to possess the same but different telepathic abilities, some of the company's research may have survived. With this growing threat, Aoba and his friends may have to rekindle, in order to find out what the now-deceased Toue has sprouted from underneath their noses during their last visit.
