Cody nearly choked on his water, "sorry but I have to be somewhere the guys are probably worried about me I'm late for practice." He got up and walked out, heading for the warehouse where he and his team trained. He got there, practicing every firebending move he knew and dodges, he was breathing hard, but he continued to do his firebending.

Elsa watched him leave and glared at her mother before getting up and storming out of the room as her father rubbed his head. "Love what have you done." He said and his wife only looked at him weird and he started to think that after he married her she changed from the free spirited wife he had married to a woman that forgot who she was. Elsa had gone to her room and took the rope she hand and snuck out her window and ran to the stadium to look around the area to see if she could find Cody and avoid the next stupid guy trying to propose to her because of her status.

Cody was drinking some water, he needed to stay hydrated or he would burn out . The guys were looking at him weird, but he really didn't care for that fact. Some people were stupid enough, to just try marry for status they wouldn't love the person they had married, they would only have the status that they wanted. Guys who were marring for status were stupid, he knew that way to well in the fact.

Elsa was pretty much walking every where trying to figure out where Cody could be since she had no clue where he was training. "Oh maybe this was a bad idea I have no clue where Cody could be at all." She said as she kept walking around like a she had her head cut off. But she was not going to give up and just kept walking around keeping her eyes out trying to figure out where to go from there and where to look next.

Cody nodded toward the guys as he left, he had enough training for today. He got his stuff, he went to the docks waiting on the fire nation boat to show up. Once it did he would be leaving republic city, and going back to the fire nation. He saw the boat coming, his stuff in a bag over his shoulder while his other hand in his pocket. He sighed, he really liked Elsa, but knew the northern water tribe wouldn't follow a fire bender. It was for her own good, that he left he would put the northern water tribe at panic because of his fire bending.

Elsa kept walking and made it to the boat area fro she remember something about him saying about going back to the fire nation so she thought she try there. She walked around and asked the port mater where the fire nation boat was docking and he point out where and told her ti hurry for it was almost here. Elsa bowed saying thank you and started to run as fast as she could. Elsa looked at the boart and saw it was just getting closer and she tried to run faster. Soon she made it to the area where the boat was going to dock she saw Cody and ran over to him but had a hard time fighting the crowds. "CODY!" She yelled at the top of her lungs as she kept trying to move through the crowds. "CODY!" She yelled again trying to get his attention.

Cody looked up, and saw Elsa he was torn wether to go on the boat or just stay where he was. The boat was just docking, it would give him at least 30 minutes to board in that time. He just stayed where he was, looking at the crowd that was boarding the boat . Some people were looking at him like he was crazy for not boarding the boat. He just shook his head, and sighed his feet planted on the dock no matter how hard his mind told him to move he didn't.

Elsa finally broke free from the crowed and ran up to him breathing heavy trying to catch her breath. "So you were just going to leave without telling me a thing." She said upset while still catching her breath still. "Why are you leaving all of a sudden I don;t want you to leave and if you have to I want to go with my mother does not know me anymore and I don;t know her anymore she used to be like me a free spirited person but she is just the same old other wife of a chief of the Northern Water Tribe."

Cody looked at the ground, "Elsa you wouldn't understand me, but you want to know I like you a lot I know I know we barely know each other I know that, but if you don't want me to leave I won't. Still got pro bending here I can deal if you don't want me to leave here Elsa, but remember once you leave for the northern water tribe I won't be following I don't belong there. I belong in either the fire nation or republic city." He mumbled, he didn't look at her as he said it he kept his gaze on the ground.

Elsa listened to him and hugged him tight. "I like you too Cody I don;t know why but after first meeting you and seeing you firebend out side of the pro bending arena." She said as she held him tight. "And I do not want to go back to the Northern Water Tribe I hate it there so much especially since I am a princess and all thier stupid rules and traditions they have the Southern Water Tibe is a lot better then the Northern Water Tribe and I don't want to go back with a mother who does not care about my feelings and a brother that hates my guts because mom and dad always say I am better then him." She said to him and hugged him tighter. "I want to stay with you an actually jsut be a normal girl."

Cody was a bit suprised, he put his arms around her. "I don't think your parents will leave without you with them Elsa, I don't know if they'll even let you around me, once they start planning on leaving here, and plus I don't think you will be able to get away from your parents even if you went to the fire nation with me." He knew he was right in a way, his explanations were always coming from his mind and heart.

"I don't care I will just keep running until I am free they only keep me trapped because the moon spirit gave me life when I was just a baby." Elsa said shaking and crying a little. "Just like Princess Yue from years ago I was born the same way as her very sick all the healers said I would die so my father did the same thing begging the moon spirit to save me and it did that is why my hair is while along with my skin complexion ever since then life has never been easy on me with other people from my tribe and my family."

Cody's arms tightened around her, "Elsa it's alright, " he looked back at the boat then shook his head. He slowly lead both of them away from the docks, "if your parents say you leave just come and find me, I'll come in a heartbeat and make sure you don't go with them alright." That was his way of repaying her, for almost trying to leave without telling her. "For now Elsa I think you don't want to be around your family, so let's go to my place it's not much, but it's home to me."

Elsa was glad he was not leaving as they walked away from the docks. "You promise to be there if my parents try to take me back to the Northern Water Tribe." She said to him not wanting to be fooled or anything. She was glad though he thought that she did not want to go back home for she did not want to at all. "As long as I am away from my parents I do not care where I go right now." She said still shaking a little still from everything for she also never told anyone that the moon spirit gave her a chance at life.

Cody looked at her, "I promise Elsa," he opens the door to his one bedroom apartment. "I told you it really wasn't much," as he flipped the lights on collapsing in a chair still with her in his arms. He whispered in her ear, "you mean a lot to me, and I love you for that free spirit you have, that I will do anything for you to stay here in republic city."

Elsa looked around his apartment and thought it was cute and quaint. "I think it looks nice I hate how my place is so big I actually get lost in my own houses." She explained to him and let out a small eep when he collapsed on the chair with her in his arms still blushing a little for she had not expect that at all. But she blushed more when he said that he loved her for her free spirit and that he would do anything for her to stay in republic city like she would do anything to stay with him in republic city. "I love you for your strength you were able to go from the streets to at least this, everything in my life was handed to me I don;t know what its like to work for something really."

He was tired, but his mind wouldn't allow him to sleep for now. He kept his arms around her, he wouldn't dose off just yet. "Elsa you know this place has one bedroom I don't mind sharing with you really, because I don't think you want to go back home tonight."

Elsa was all relaxed in his arms and she liked how it felt thought she did start to feel his body temperature go up and was wondering if that was his fire-bending in his body kind of thing. But she did smile when he said she was herself and no one could change that. "Thanks for saying that makes me happy but it would be nice to earn something for once instead of having my parents hand it to me like always." She said to him and listened to him when he said about how he had one bed and that he did not mind sharing with her and she did trust him. "Well as long as you are ok with it and I do trust you Cody."

Cody nodded, then whispered in her ear "I wasn't handed to you in order to stay here you got to fight for it you got to work for it that's how it works here you have to set your mind to something." He slowly got up, going to his bedroom holding the door open for her, he looked at her with an old fashion street smirk which usually said on his face. 'You can trust me' it wasn't like the others, where you got all this weirdness of it.

Elsa looked at him when he whispered that to her and she knew he was right she can not rely on him when she wanted to stay in republic city. She would have to learn to fight her own battles one day. She followed and went into his room and only laughed when he smirk on his face. "Oh you are so silly." Elsa said with a smile on her face as she looked around his room and thought it looked really nice even thought she kind liked how big her room was but she thought the room was nice and quaint.
