Have you ever had your life flash before your eyes? The sight of your greatest triumphs, your greatest regrets, the people you’ll leave behind... have you ever seen them all flash before your very eyes? How would you react to such an experience? Would you accept deaths warm embrace or would you fight for life? Fight to survive for those you care so deeply about? I had always thought it was a some bullshit, that it was some sappy romantic movie cliche that couples went to see. I guess until you experience something first hand you can only speculate the legitimacy of an act or item. I hadn’t expected it to be so soon though... but perhaps for him I’d accept death. Guess we’ll find out the legitimacy of the afterlife too huh? Pretty busy day for me. But oh well, it’s time...
So that was a bit of a preview for the idea I had in mind. I was thinking that perhaps our characters are in a military mecha pilot group and something happens, an explosion at the base. My character shields your character from the blast, leaving her severely burned and in a coma. When my character wakes up though she has no recollection of the past 5 years, meaning she no longer remembers being a mecha pilot, instead reverting back to her younger self who happens to be completely different from her former self. Essentially the role play would perhaps begin actually a month of so before the explosion before jumping to the explosion, then to the after math where they’d try to figure out a way to regain her memories.
