It's good to have someone like that though. Keeps it interesting.

I'll write a character for this tomorrow after some sleep, and if the twins don't cause too much hassle lol.

I found it. Just had to look in my message inbox. I will put my CS up in a bit.

Here he is, my scary urban legend, who is actually an uneducated foreigner from Korea who cannot speak English. I've always found the superstitiousness of humans fascinating, more so especially in such a violent world, where what was thought to be impossible has appeared before the eyes of the human race. It begs the question for survivors, "If something this unbelievable has happened, how far away are things we originally thought were impossible? Ghosts? Monsters? Myths?" Also, I hope he's not OP, I tried to balance his epic sk1llz with poor education and a language barrier, which I hope is enough, helI, I was going to make him a mute as well, but I thought that might've been too big a handicap.

Please forgive the poor formatting and grammar, I'm on my iPad so this is the best I can do. Hopefully, I can clean it up if I get access to a computer.

Name: Lee Hye-Shik
Nickname: The Hunter's Ghost
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Appearance:

Like this, only much dirtier, a longer more natural hairstyle and a growing black beard.
He wears a worn sleeveless Camoflauged hoodie with baggy dark green cargo pants. The pants are tucked into his combat boots. Under his hoodie he is wearing some under layers of animal skins. On each of his arms there are tattoos of all-sorts of animals running from the top of his shoulders down to his finger-tips, each one represents a creature he has killed, under his left wrist is a figure that closely resembles a human.
Weapon(s):
Tigerskin-Grip Yew Recurve Bow- He was given it by his father at a young age and has used ever since whenever he has gone hunting and has kept it in top-condition. The tiger fur on the grip is a piece of what his father considers to be his greatest hunt. Lee hopes to put a piece of his greatest hunt on the bow as well, but has yet to find a creature worthy enough. His accuracy with it is nothing to sneeze at. His quiver is kept below his pack on his lower back, he a cloth pull-over he can secure over the top of the quiver to keep arrows from falling out or rattling.
-Curare Poison Coating- An extra he saved up for using his earnings. Illegal in most areas but makes for a quick clean kill. Kept in a leather pouch that hangs from his waist.
-21x Broadhead Hunting Arrows
-2x Fishing Arrows with fishing line
Karambit Knife- An Indonesian knife with a curved blade. The ring on the hilt allows for varied movements with the unique weapon. He had it from a hunting trip in Indonesia and has kept it since. The sheathe is white leather and ivory, it looks luxurious but it is worn and looks a bit dirty, the sheathe is located secretly under his left armpit
Kukri- A weapon he found on the body of an unlucky survivor in the woods, it gives the close range distance the Karambit does not offer. The edge is razor sharp and it is clear the previous owner treasured it deeply. It is kept sheathed in a leather black case on his back above his quiver of arrows and behind his pack.
Gear and Equipment:
Pouch of Herbs- Contains a variety of poisonous plants and healing herbs that he has collected and put in a leather pouch that hangs from his waist next to his Curare pouch.
Light Survivalist Pack- Signs of weathering and use are apparent on the beaten leather rucksack. It is worn on the back and is small enough that it doesn't expend a lot of energy to carry. Inside, one can find a small roll of animal skins that can be used for warmth, a water bottle and a single change of clothes. There is also a worn photo of him as a young child and his father holding up a caught rabbit for a picture.
Lee's Journal- In a pocket in the underside of his coat is a leather bound book. It is all written in Korean, but if one was to translate it, they would find a huge plethora of survival tips and information, as well as information on how to hunt countless animals. The first pages are written by Lee's father, but almost all of them have been filled out by Lee. A survivalist's gold mine, the information within is the collective information of two professional hunters. Disturbingly enough, if one goes far enough into the journal, they can find an entry for humans, detailing vital points and hunting methods.
Lee's Hut- His shack is made from tarps and branches, it's around the size of a small bathroom but it still serves to give him shelter, dried meats and food supplies are all around his camp as well as homemade weapons and traps.w
History:
Born in a small rural town of South Korea, Lee didn't stay long before his father, a big game hunter, took him along with him on his worldwide travels. Lee got to see the world's wonders, it's natural splendor and beauty from up close at a young age. At a time when most would be studying a receiving a formal education, he was off somewhere exotic with his father learning from his father how to hunt. If you were good, big game hunting was a lucrative business, and Lee's father was very good. He was an expert with a bow and taught that very skill to his son. Lee learned many sorts of things from hunters around the world, an opportunity that wasn't available to most and Lee's father made that very clear to him. Lee dedicated all of his time to learning skills so he could succeed his father's trade and he even aspired to become better than him. On a hunt in South America, Lee's father caught Malaria and was on his deathbed. As he passed away he passed on his bow to his son and his Journal of all his hunts, filled with tons of information and recounts but still relatively unfinished. His father passed away not at the jaws of a mighty beast, but at the small bite of an insect.

More recently, Lee touched down at in California for a short while as he was only passing through and planned to take another flight up to the border areas of the US and Canada to hunt Grizzlies. He decided to visit the Redwoods for a tourist visit. When "it" hit, his translator was among the first to be killed leaving Lee in a foreign country with no means of communication. Trust is a major issue as he has no idea what people are saying to him. His longstanding exposure to harmful diseases and poisons have given him an immunity to the virus and he has not yet been bitten. Unbeknownst to him he has become a bit of a myth among survivors in the area, as evidence of his hunting have been found around the area, nothing but a fully harvested carcass obviously cut up by a human. His hunting has served to thin out the game in the surrounding area, and probably stirred up resentment from hunters from groups of survivors. Stories around the campfire passed around by superstitious survivors about "The Hunter who was killed by his group and how his ghost lives on to curse all survivors in the area" are spoken as well as parents telling their children "Eat your food or the Hunter's Ghost will steal it" to cautioning their kids to finish their food. When really, "The Hunter's Ghost" is an uneducated Korean man who can't speak English. Recently he has grouped with a bunch of other survivors. He has communicated through gestures and other signals.
Skills:
He is an expert hunter and tracker, as well as navigator. His survivalist skills are also good, making use of the bare minimum to survive. Comparatively, the Redwoods are less of a dangerous place than places like the Amazon. He is a dead shot with a bow and is very handy with a knife. He can swing his Kukri well, but with no real form or technique. He knows the ins-and-outs of many forms of martial arts, but he is virtually uneducated. Basic arithmetic is a challenge for him. He can write flawlessly, Korean that is. He can speak a few words of English and can understand it more than he can speak it.
Other: His English is extremely poor and aside from hunting, tracking, and survival he is basically uneducated in Science, Mathematics and Fine Arts.

I'm going to keep an eye on this one, it's just at the moment I can't wrap my head around a CS I like, after six attempts and wiping the lot of them due to writers-rage-at-not-liking-something. If it's okay I may get one worked up after it's already started, and I'll pop back in as a wandering survivor or something :]

So the IC will start out as all the characters already in the group? Or will it be that all characters are close to meeting each other, and they cross paths right after that? I just want to know how the roleplay is going to start.

I think we are supposed to all be in the same general area but perhaps do not have to all start together. I hope we can start this soon =)

I was hoping to have everyone starting out in the same group, the plot device I'm planning on using kind of requires it. I'll post the IC and a few NPC bios when I get to a real computer in a few hours

Name: Cyrek Krusek
Nickname: Cruse
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Appearance:
Weapon(s): LE6920 in this setup

He was allowed to own it for his job.
Glock 17

And a Ka-Bar

and a good machete.
Gear and Equipment:
>Field Load Combat Carrier, in other words, the vest that carries all of his bullets in magazines.
> Eleven magazines(two in his ALICE pack and 8 in his FLCC, and one in his gun)
> ALICE pack loaded with survival gear(it's just standard stuff you go camping with that you can carry on your back)
> An awesome pair of tactical boots he got from Ranger Joe's

History: He joined the Army at 17 and served 9 years on Active Duty as an Infantryman. He retired as a Staff Sergeant(E-6) with 3 deployments under his belt. One to Afghanistan and two to Africa. He was in several firefights in Afghanistan, his first deployment, experiencing a lot of hell. His next two deployments were eventful, but not as eventful as Afghanistan. He came back from his first deployment with a case of PTSD that he was treated for. He still has some small remainders of his PTSD that come back in his dreams every now and then, but he is stable.
After he retired, he applied for a job with a Private Military Company and became a contractor. This job would be his last job, as the infection broke out. He was part of a private business's Safe Zone, that was a giant powerplant and manufacturing plant. It was an excellent place to be, as they could manufacture bullets, but it was too big to hold against increased infected. After about a short period of time, it was compromised and Krusek took his leave, scavenging what ammo he could carry and supplies he needed.
He found himself in Redwood park after a long time of wandering, meeting up with a group of strangers. Since meeting up with them, he has become a far superior fighter, and maintains himself as part of the security.
Skills: Advanced military training, such as Airborne, Sapper, and Ranger school. He stays in good shape and has most of his life.
Other: He hated officers when he was in the Army. He still does.

Oh definitely, he'll just cause a shit ton of trouble for Connor. He will most definitely challenge his leadership... all. The Damn. Time.
Also, Starting Friday, I will not be around. I will most certainly be back on Monday, but I may not be back on Sunday, but it's still a possibility. So, please to not go batshit insane while I'm gone.

First IC post is up, sorry it's short and heavy on exposition, but it is just to get the plot rolling, Oni I know I left Lazarus out of the initial list, but all he has to do to come on the first mission is volunteer.
