What's the minimum in California? AZ just upped ours to $11.50 as of this summer
It used to be $8, but it's been increasing over the last two years.
No one is happy about it though because it's killing our small businesses

I’m just making like a little over the minimum.
I think ours is like $11.00 but there’s plans for it to go up in the coming years if I remember correctly.

Really? I thought it was higher in CA for some reason.
Probably because my friends from SoCal were always talking about how expensive everything is there xD
They came to the university I go to because the tuition was cheaper than their in-state options

They’re trying to make it $15 but that’s over the course of a few years cx
And certainly not soon enough
Yeah it’s pretty expensive here. lol
my friend and I are looking to move to LA at some point but finding an affordable place is pretty difficult

Minimum wage increases don't help much because the price of everything else goes up along with it, unfortunately :'D
After ours went up, I started spending like $20-30 more on groceries every month

Yeah, you just end up in the same situation because you have more money, but it's worth less ^^;

I played on Crow's superstitions a little bit ;)

Small business owners and their employees, sadly :/
My city is made up of a lot of local small business owners, so tons of people lost their jobs when the minimum wage went up
Our minimum is supposed to reach $12 when they finish increasing it, so it's not over yet ^^;

I guess so, but I try to remember these things xD

I'm majoring in interior design, hoping to work for an architecture firm somewhere
Recently though, I've been considering becoming an author instead because of how much I love to write.
Also, world building gives me an excuse to research the hell out of whatever I want >>
I'd probably write a dystopian novel of some sort, but I don't have a story for it yet.

Ahhh dang. I’m not sure how it would effect here. In my town, there aren’t that many small businesses but I know a lot of other places where there are so it’ll probably hurt the most there.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the minimum wage increase passed here because Phoenix is mostly made up of big companies, so it wasn't affected too badly either.
My city is a lot smaller, so our votes didn't do much against the mega city :'D
Also, there were a lot of people here who voted to increase the minimum wage, but they didn't understand how it would affect the economy. They were all happy until we lost our only two fro-yo shops, and then everybody got really sad xD
It seriously took frozen yogurt for all of the college students to realize they had made a mistake... no joke lol

It sounds like a really cool job! Would you just be writing dialogues or would it be more than that?
I don't know too much about the film industry, but I like to learn things x3

Unfortunately we college students don’t realize it’s effect until it either effects or internet or our food xD

It would be more. It also includes some basic description of the setting, character movements/actions, and scene setting.
I’m still learning but I know some stuff if you have questions lol

Also probably my last post for the night since I’m pretty tired cx

It depends. I’ve never done anything ‘professional’ but sometimes there’s a group of writers and other times there’s just one.
The way my last project was set up, I was the one that wrote it out but I had my director/co-writer helping with planning out the story and such.
I think it really just depends on what your making. Like movies usually use one writer or two but I’ve noticed tv shows tend to have a group of writers.

Sorry, I got another migraine and crashed last night ^^;
I'm stopping by to see my piercer in an hour to get an acupuncture piercing that should help get rid of them though, so hopefully they'll be over soon :'D
