One thing I find amusing with your character, is how he's described as "tall for the time", and there are two women in the House which are as tall as he is, and taller in one of the cases :p Despite women generally being shorter than men.

Yes, but those are women. By all rights, Lucie and Aleksandra should be shorter than your dude is, but they're not xp I just find it funny.

The average male height in western Europe at the outset of World War I was around 5'6". That was in 1914 - almost two and a half decades after our current setting. Many people, sans the nobles of course, will be even shorter due to less nutrition.

As such, Lucie and Aleksandra being as tall as they are is significant. Aleksandra's height in particular would've been very tall for a man of the times.
