Premise - An adventurer/warrior/wanderer of some ilk awakes from a nightmare in a place they don't recognize. They find themselves bandaged and can feel multiple injuries on their body. Shortly after rising, a monk enters the room they're in. The monk explains that they are at a monastery, brought here by a passerby that found their wounded body in the nearby forest. The monk assures the adventurer/warrior/wanderer of some ilk that they ask for nothing in return for treating their injuries and that the monastery has a safe place to lie their head for as long as the injured may need it. There are multiple other injured souls that are staying in the Monastery, but it seems that there's a single Monk. The Monk refuses to divulge who exactly the God he prays to is and avoids any questions about injured guests who seem to disappear in the night, one at a time. The longer the Adventurer/Warrior/Wanderer of some ilk stays at the Monastery, the worse their nightmares seem to get.

Setting - This RP would take place in a medieval fantasy world, specifically at a monastery with oriental inspired decor. Large pillows on the floor rather than chairs. The interior would have sliding paper doors, while there would be no exterior doors. A stone wall encircles the monastery, as well as the courtyard that it sits in the middle of. A flat rock face sits at the back of the courtyard, the small mouth of a cave dug into it. Across the mouth of the cave is a rope, paper charms hanging from it. A large koi pond rests in front of the rock face, preventing anyone from getting too close to the cave. Stepping stones peek over the surface of the water, each one three feet away from the last. The courtyard is filled with a lush garden that the lone monk that resides there spends most of the daylight tending to. The monastery itself is situated atop a steep hill. The hill isn't large enough to be called a mountain, but is impossible to climb or descend without the help of the set of steps carved into the path that leads in and out of the monastery.

Looking For - 1-2 people to play injured characters the Monk is treating and investigate the shady going-ons of this strange monastery. One person would play the character that awakes in the premise, starting the story off. The other person will play an injured character that's been recovering at the monastery for some time and seen at least one other injured person disappear. I'll be playing the Monk, as well as the other Non-Player-Controlled injured characters as needed.
