This is NOT a Game of Thrones story but is only inspired by the are and concept of the television series.
After a horrific war that saw thousands killed, my character, Phillip -- once the son of a landed peasant but now a knighted lord -- is given title and land for his heroism, which included literally saving the life of the newly-crowned King. He is given the Keep in Echo Valley and all the land surrounding it.
The people of Echo Valley are torn about their new Lord because their previous Lord supported the King's opponents; there is great fear that they will punished for the betrayal of their now-deceased Lord.
YOUR CHARACTER: I myself will be playing 2 main characters and some on again, off again characters, and I am looking for a writing partner who is interested in doing the same. I am specifically interested in two female characters (though this is not a must): a peasant girl who is essentially "given" as a consort to the Lord by her poverty-stricken father; and a female relative -- perhaps a daughter or niece -- of a wealthy Landed Peasant or perhaps a Noble Woman who is "more appropriate" as a marriage partner. This will lead to the drama of a love/lust triangle.
But, as I said, this is not a firm request. I am open to other ideas. Perhaps even a female character who is part of a renegade group living in the woods, wishing to stay out from under the Lord's thumb. I dunno; I'm open.
I would prefer that each of us posts at least 4 times a week. I do not have a minimum reply length; the length of this post is well more than enough to keep me happy. I would request you proofread for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
