Islands-
Jubiltown

Jubiltown

Being a place that no one finds on purpose, Jubiltown is surprisingly populated. It's denizens are made up mostly of pirates that couldn't find it in them to leave the constant perfect weather. If it wasn't the year round daylight that convinced most to stay, it was most assuredly the daily festivities. For those who happened upon this odd place, they soon found out there was an infinite affinity for partying. Booze and food were never in short supply, and the Jubil Pirates made sure of that. That's not to say the town wasn't equipped to offer necessities for those who did have the will to leave. Numerous shops littered the town to help restock both pirates and marines. It was a fair place with two simple rules. The first rule was that anyone wishing to stay permanently, must take part in the everyday festivities. Jubil, of the Jubil Pirates and the King of Jubiltown, demanded this. The second rule, which was even more important to the King, was any conflict to be had, would be settled in the arena on the main deck of the Jubil Pirates Ship. Being that drunk pirates and marines were an everyday occurrence, conflict was plentiful. After all, what's a party without some brawling, which was a main event of today.

King Jubil sat upon his wooden throne at the edge of the main decks arena. From there, he could see the entire island of Jubiltown. In a large ring around the giant ship, it looked as if one side of the crescent shaped land mirrored to the other side. Immediately surrounding the ship were other smaller vessels collected from other pirate clans who willingly joined the Jubils. They were all connected by bridges and turned into various shops for citizens of Jubiltown and travelers. Among these ships is where most of the partying took place. Living quarters were reserved for the mainland, but that also was not without good times. Most of the homes there were built from scrapped ships needed to house newcomers, and with Jubiltown always growing, there was always need for more wood. Beyond the ring of the mainland, Ships of both pirate and marine variety remained docked until their crews were ready to depart. These ships were protected under King Jubil, for it was not his wish to control the dreams of others, but to encourage them. Life was simple in Jubiltown, and because it could not be found with any log pose or even the most skilled cartographer, this would never change.

This is where we will post CS's for Islands, so we can better understand the territory we'll be in. Be as descriptive as possible, atleast enough to not give away story related spoilers. This will help cut down post length and sometimes tedious reads.

Island Name: (Self Explanatory)

Picture/Description: (Self Explanatory)

Ruler: (Self Explanatory)

System: (Here, explain how the 'government' system of the island works.)

History: (A brief explanation of how the ruler established what the island is today.)

Important Notes: (Explain rules of the island ((if applicable))(((Not all islands will have this.))) Also explain anything we as the poster should know about the island so we have a better understanding of how the mechanics or people of the island work. Consistency with characters is important.)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Island Name: Jubiltown

Picture/Description: Before Jubiltown, this island sat alone, hidden from the world as a simple Ring of flat land. When a man happened upon it, it was slowly turned into a booming place for others that also found their way. A giant ship was placed perfectly centered inside the ring, with dozens of other connected to it by wooden bridges. Along the ring of land, homes and shops of various types were built.

Ruler: King Jubil - A man with the vision vision fruit. He found the island by accident, his pose never once registering it. He was unaware of the curse of the island, but he felt at home and took it upon himself to establish it in his name.

System: A very basic system, Jubiltown is is run by its Ruler, King Jubil. There aren't many rules, but the ones that exist are law. The many guards he has accumulated over his time as King, litter the main land. His most trusted crew, the original Jubil Pirates, almost never leave the maze of ships surrounding the King's own. For the most part, Jubiltown is quite laid back, its citizens allowed to pretty much do as they please. As a part of his laws, everyone must party who is not tending a shop or not making a permanent hom of Jubiltown; and no one is to fight outside the arena located on King Jubils ship.

History: Jubiltown, which was a nameless island before the Jubil Pirates made an appearance, was an island with a terrible curse. It remained hidden from the world since time immemorial. Over the millennia, in all its loneliness, the island seemingly developed the ability to sing a song that could not be heard with ears. It sang to the heart of those who sailed close enough, and while it had many visitors, none stayed for long. The island grew more sorrowful and with that, the unheard tune became more powerful. After some time, A large band of pirates sailed unknowingly into it's grasp. It killed the pirate Captain's will to leave, and thus began the era of Jubiltown. It didn't take long for the island to change. Its tranquil song changing to match its new found liveliness, in turn, forcing its dream into King Jubil. From then on, the party raged and those that hadn't the will to really challenge the New World, felt the islands dream.

Island Name: Arcadia

Picture/Description: Ever changing, but the general size is a medium to large island with every biome type imaginable.

Ruler: GM - Ruler of the early New World

System: GM decides what is law in his lands, but over Arcadia, all our judged in the Great Pirate Games, a sacred tradtition that was brought to a new level by the rule rule fruit. Those that break the rules are either held until the event, given a chance for their freedom, or can opt to take direct judgement of the wheel, which many in the islands have come to know as both fair and absolute.

History: (To complete)

Important Notes: The rule rule fruit can alter any aspect of reality around the main island, yet it can not alter free will. All games are attended by a crowd, as the games are a big deal across the world, and attended to a smaller degree when the games are not in session. Arcadia is a place of freedom for most, GM giving the people a life that they most desire to live, which is what causes such loyalty to him. In turn, GM cares great what his citizens feel about him, which directly impacts the games. This is why a good deal of the games are entertainment based, as he knows all of his citizens have no lust for blood and battle. Have fun!
