The plot:
Once upon a time, a long time ago, there were two sisters, one younger and one older. They were born in a kingdom of sorceri. The older sister was a small child when her little sister joined the family. She vowed to be a wonderful sister to her younger sibling. The two grew up in a happy family, and they both trained hard to be strong sorceresses.
The years passed....
One day, the queen of their kingdom had died and had left the king without an heir, since one was never born before she passed away. The king had decided to select a successor from amongst the many citizens of his kingdom and had soon arrived at the home of these two sisters and their parents. The king had narrowed it down to them and,in a decision he had thought long and hard about, he had selected the older sister as his heir. She would be the next queen. This made the younger sister furious. She felt that she was more beautiful, that she was stronger, smarter, and had better magical abilities. She felt that SHE should have been the one chosen, that she should be the next ruler of the kingdom.
In a fury, the younger sister left, abandoning her kingdom and her family, vowing to return and seek her revenge someday, once she had a strong army of her own.
This worried the elder sister greatly, on top of feeling betrayed angry and hurt by the younger sisters' decision and actions.
Time passed after that and the elder sister took the throne.
Fast forward:
A couple married, a young human couple, and they moved into an old house in the middle of a meadow. They had two children, twins, one boy and one girl. They were a happy family for many years.
Then, one day, they were having a picnic outside, when a large black cloud appeared. Then a fog temporarily surrounded them and a woman appeared, dressed in black. She smirked and said she had finally found them, talking about the twins. The entire family was scared and confused.
The woman was the younger sister, who had fled in anger from her home all that time ago. She had gotten stronger since then. Anyway, she spoke of a prophecy that stated that if a special pair of twins, a brother and a sister with special magic in their blood due to ancestry, joined her ranks, she could eliminate her sister and claim the throne that she had been denied. She could rule as she was supposed to, or so she claimed.
The twins refused, and not just because they were scared and did not trust her. They could sense that she was evil. This made the sorceress angry. She was furious that they refused. And so, she cast a spell on them as punishment for said refusal. She cursed them. She showed a little bit of mercy in it, by only casting a spell that turned them into animals, only at night and a random one each time. She told them that she would reverse the curse if they agreed to join her and that she would give them a few days to decide. She laughed evilly and vanished.
The parents were both in tears but the twins tried to reassure them that they would be ok. Research was done to find a way to break the spell on their own. They found out about the older sister, the queen, and how she had powers strong enough to break their spell. She was the only one who could help them, and so they decided to set off on a journey to find her and her kingdom.
These twins were the deciding factor in a war that has lasted for many a year, that would determine which sister would win and who would loose.
