My focus is elsewhere today apparently xD I managed to write one more though!

And yeah, Cas is still in the middle of his paradigm shift. I think he'll be in denial for a while before it suddenly hits him, and he'll realize everything he was told was a lie

3am is still way later than I'm ever awake xD I'm an old person who goes to bed at 10pm every night. Although that's partly because my husband has to be up for work early and we always get up at the same time.

Hahaha yeah, Cas is a spoiled little boy. Not having luxuries at the tips of his fingers is a whole new experience for him. It'll be yet another change he has to adjust to while he and Iris are on the run.

I never usually do myself, but I just couldn't sleep and there was video games... haha. A dangerous combo.

Hahaha look at him though, hotels, busses and taxis. This reality check is going to hit hard on him.

My husband is like that sometimes, haha. Every once in a while he'll stay up until two or three playing a game and then regret it when he has to work at 7am xD

I'm working on my project again today (I've just been taking Fridays and/or Saturdays off) so I'll get a post up when I can!

I live for character development, haha. I never make a character who's the same at the end of a story as they were at the beginning cx

Sorry it took so long!

I was also thinking that Iris will probably go to sleep whilst he is eating the pie or just after. We could maybe do a piece on what's happened back at her home? Like with Regis and being captured?

No worries! I'm going to be extra busy until next Wednesday, so I most likely won't be posting as much for a week. On the bright side, I'm officially graduating in four and a half weeks, so I'll be free from school forever soon :D I'm super excited to get my degree and be done.

Okay! Cas is still focused on sorting through all his thoughts, so he hasn't noticed that Iris wasn't eating at the same time he was or even that there's only one bed in the bomb shelter. He'll probably realize it in the morning and feel like a prick for not making sure she was taken care of too, haha. He's been more guarded lately, but he's still a softie xD

When they go to sleep, we could do a quick bit on the raid at Regis's house!

Oh yeah I can see him being more guarded, especially after everything! Awh bless him, I can only imagine his reaction. Iris doesn't mind, she's thinking about how the hell she can get him back to the Capital haha.

Yes!! I thought that would be interesting, especially as they will see all the blood in the cell. Regis will probably tell them he's already killed him.

Yeah, I've had senioritis since I graduated high school honestly xD I love to learn, but I don't like tedious projects that I get assigned in classes. It'll be nice to move on.

And it won't matter what Iris thinks, haha. Cas will just feel bad for eating all the food and taking the bed without asking if she was hungry or tired xD He's usually thoughtful, but after everything that's happened, he's had to take care of himself before he can even think of checking on anyone else. It's a good thing for him to learn how to do, but he'll think he was being selfish anyway.

Ooh, that would be interesting. If Atlas thinks Cas is dead, he could snap and start raining hell on Hope. Then Cas and Iris would have to dodge the battles while they're trying to get back to the capital

Well I hope it all goes well for you!

He is such a sweetheart under it all though! Imagine the adjustment when he is finally back home! Especially after weeks out of the Capital.

Oooo I like it! Regis will deffo get killed for it haha. Perhaps we can even have a moment where Cas is like it's me to some of the officers, but they don't recognise him and know he is dead so he has to run from them because they don't believe him.

And oh yeah, he might have a hard time sleeping at first because he'll still be on edge from all the running he and Iris had done

I could see that happening. Cas was always clean shaven, but by the time they would run into any soldiers, he'd be sporting a short beard because there are no razors around. That along with the death announcement could be enough for them to assume he's just a commoner who looks similar to Atlas's son and is trying to use it to his advantage

I thought it would be a fun idea! Plus I can only imagine them both being bummed about it because it would have gotten him back to the Capital.
