So earlier I had some urge to make a type of character based on two generic archetypes from some fantasy game I’ve never played.

In the past I’ve spent years writing story and lore for stuff so I thought “What if I just combined both”

I’m thinking of dropping a link to a very old half baked world I spent an unbelievable time making and we can work through it, make classes and characters, and form a storyline that we just work with as time goes on.

That sounds very hare-brained, but I’m like that.

I’m thinking stuff like zombies, dragons, not-so-attractive elves that are actually abominations, and abstract bad guys with no tangible presence among other things.

Hit me up if you want to grasp this wack mess I just spewed.

Edit : Very long page of old and probably retrospectively-bad writing

Okay so anyway
Here’s the general idea of this

“A decade or two ago, a large town got destroyed by a group of very, very angry and quite reclusive necromancers. This town was the closest thing to their home, which happened to be a few miles into the forest in this small cluster of huts and fireplaces, the place was effectively a giant camp the necromancer a were living in.

The zombie raising bastards sacked the town, which no one remembers anymore, and kidnapped a lot of people, mainly children. If the hostages weren’t killed or sacrificed to some god, they were indoctrinated from a young age into the ranks of the necromancers, taught how to raise the dead and such. It was rough, growing up in that camp. I never liked it there. The other kids just went along with it, until they branded us.

They stuck us with needles, gave us a bunch of weird swirly tattoos on our arms and just said something about how we could never leave if we wanted to, and that as long as they were alive, we were their dogs. It’s funny since they’re dead now.”

A single survivor of that time made it out, at least that’s what he thought. Another person survived and is trying to reform his old cult, with the intention of taking over the world with his army of the dead. The worst part of it all? The one child who survived it all is just letting life pass him by while he does little more than strum a lure and scare away bandits outside the inn he works at. It doesn’t help that he’s the only one who knows about this old mess, and just hopes it’s all a joke, after all, who’s gonna believe anything a necromancer says?
