Billie watched as El Superhombre fell to the parking lot pavement below, wondering if he'd survive the fall from the floor level they were on.

"Noooooooo!!!!" She shouted despite the stupid move of attracting more zombies her way by screaming. She quickly shut her mouth at the thought.

I can't stay here all day. Do I go down or up?

Billie looked down at the parking lot below again and said, "Fuck it." She started to climb down. She went past her apartment also and looked inside to see if it was safe.

Reno heard noise below him, someone screaming, then sounded like they fell.
"Zs must be on the fire escape, shit."
He ran over and looked down from the roof top, scanning the area below him.

Z1 is in kitchen and Z2 is in doorway, stuck on door jam.

Billie jerked back at the sight of one zombie banging around the kitchen, licking blood on the stove.

Wait, did El Superhombre even turn the stove off?

She then saw a second zombie stuck on the door jam, trapped behind the chair that fell.

"Pst...Hey. what are you doin'?"

Billie looked up at the voice whispering down at her.

"Yo, dawg. Wait, you have a mask too?! I must have missed out on the zombie apocalypse memo."

As she spoke, stupidly, the zombie in the kitchen started to make their way to her.

Billie looked inside her window and shouted, "Fawk!" She quickly started to climb up towards the person above her.

She silently mouthed at them, 'Z O M B I E S P O T T E D M E, R U N!"

She wondered if the person above her would even be able to understand.

Reno dropped over the side with a loud clunk, as he landed on the stairwell.
He ran down to the girl, cause he heard her say the magic word "zombie "
Reno held his bat like player waiting to knock it home, if he had to.

Billie listened to the stranger speak as though the zombies were of no issue at all as they quickly reached her apartment level and looked inside to spot the zombie.

At hearing the order to follow him to the roof, Billie shrugs her shoulders and does. But not before taking her shovel and looking around for a place to put it. "Fuck it." Billie then takes the darned thing and opens the back of her hoodie, stuffing the shovel there. Sure it scrapes like a bitch and jiggles around, but it ensured her that she could climb up to the roof with both hands.

She didn't want to wind up splat down on the parking lot of the dearly departed El Superhombre.

Once she reached the roof area, she removed her shovel and looked around for threats.

"We're safe, no Zs up here anymore." he said as he walked over to the edge of the roof.
"This gap is the shortest one. I was fixing to try and jump to the adjacent building. When I heard ya."

Billie sighed with relief at not having to fight anything. She leaned her shovel against a nearby wall, then dug in her pocket for her joint, and then took out her lighter.

"I'm anxious as f--k right now, dude." She said as she lit up and inhaled deeply, holding her breath.

Coughing, she heard the man mention jumping across this building to the next. She looked over the edge and shook her head, "Yoooo.... really?!"

"That's high," she said as she inhaled another puff.

Billie shrugged, used the wall to put out her joint, and pocket it again.

And then she saw this dude jump over to the other side of the building.

"Ummm..." She then thought of her granny and wondered if she were still alive with all these zombies roaming around. But since her gun wasn't in her room, she'd have it in her purse. Maybe she'd be OK...

"I should have left a note," Billie said aloud to herself--though it probably confused the person on the other roof if they were listening to her.

"You got this!" Billie was hyping herself up. She took a few steps back, stretched her knees, and then ran forward. She jumped across the gap--which was rather significant--hoping for the best.

Billie covered her eyes just before the bat crashed into a window.

As if by magic, a shovel was inside the room next to a broom, causing Billie to chuckle.

"Well, if it ain't my lucky day." Billie then waited for Reno to grab what he wanted but then asked, "Yo, what's your name, stranger?"

"Also, what the hell happened today?"

Billie held up her hand and started listing off details with a finger. "Yesterday afternoon, I was hotboxing myself in a friend's car, drinking heavily, and wondering when I'd finally get hired at the grocery store I applied for when I passed out and awoke to fucking zombies."

"What. Happened?"

He made his way into the apartment, and headed straight to the front table.
"Damn, I can't believe they just left this shit here" said Reno as he grabbed a pillow and took the case off, dumping the Drugs from the table into the bag.

Billie followed Reno inside, being careful not the cut herself on the window or the shards on the ground below.

"Reno, cool name. I'm Billie, by the way."

Billie watched all the drugs fall on the table from the pillowcase and frowned. "Yo, this isn't good. We must be inside drug dealer's place."

Billie stepped closer and looked at the drugs, picking up some of the weed. She opened the container and breathed in the scent.

"That smells of blueberries and happiness." She said and then started to look around for said drug dealer.
