Premise
You are a newly awakened Overmind ready to dominate the surface of your world. How you got to this state may be a matter of mystery, or perhaps it is something you yourself planned, or were built for specifically. Whatever the case may be, your swarm has awakened and awaits your command...
Alright, don't let the fancy interest check fool you, this is still going to be a very free and laid back roleplay. One that will be based largely on the Overmind CYOA, with some deviations in certain sections, since I assume different players will fill out each in their own ways and with varying levels of detail. As for plot, this will be a sandbox, though I can throw in some of the events from the threats section for all players to deal with if need be. For the majority of the roleplay though, it'll be more like a nation builder with PVP and PVE, as well as heavy sandbox elements. So if you want to declare war on that annoying psychic force with a god complex the next three systems over, go for it! Just be ready for the consequences if and when the player behind them decides to fight back...
Expectations
Not many. This is free after all. Just make sure to abide by at least the initial choices presented in the CYOA itself when making your character/hivemind, be respectful to your fellow players, and make sure to give enough material in your post for others to properly reply. I'll enforce a posting schedule however, just so people aren't kept waiting for another player to post. About once per week should work fairly well I think, especially since there's no real length requirements to speak of. As far as not being able to post goes, I ask that you at least notify me and your fellow players via the OOC tab just so we're aware and can go ahead with other plotlines or things if need be.

Now we come to the important part, the CYOA, which can be found here...
Overmind CYOA.
We'll be following this fairly closely save for parts such as origins, starting location, world, psyche, drawbacks and limitations. In the case of the first four make up any you like, or use the default, I leave that up to you. As for the last two, limitations and drawbacks are not actually required, but can be used if you want. As for the threats section, like I said we won't be using that unless global events that all players will have to deal with in some way are needed, and quests I leave up to your personal discretion as well. Finally, as far as your build/hivemind itself goes, you ARE limited by the points system. There is a caveat to this however, in the form of being able to develop perks - Biological, Psychic, and Technological - you couldn't purchase from the get-go later on in the roleplay itself. So if your drone swarm couldn't use Hard Light from the start, you can start working on it IC and mass produce it for your units later on. The same goes for Drone Subtypes unless the protocol or perk in question is limited to a certain hivemind type, such as [Assimilation], or the perk in question was chosen from the General Perks category. In which case you would only have as many as you could afford, or as many as the CYOA allows.
