(I totally did NOT mess up on the QQCode last post. 'Course not.)

@Teknopathetic: Why, if you're looking for young previous-Order members to nudge back into the group, I think I've got just the ex-Order hunter that you could use. No, but, seriously, Emily's brother might have happened to ask her to keep an eye on Little Burkes if he happened to know of Lienne/that she'd be near/something.

@TosakaO: Sure, sounds good to me! c: Perhaps Emily stops by to get a tattoo in celebration of the Emergence? Her family wouldn't have approved of tattoos, but she is a bit of a black sheep.

@JJ Doe: Wasn't intending to, but, upon some (further) glances, it looks like I was! A tutor would work, maybe for some of the more core classes?

@JJ Doe: I think both options sound very plausible. Lienne is a social creature, despite her job, so she'd surely spend time in local bars/cafes depending on how well she likes the usuals and the barflies and such. Staff too, of course. She and Pazel would likely get along well.
As for Rose, there's no telling. She's surely seen him around, at the very least.

@upscalerat: Coincidences, huzzah! I wouldn't mind Lienne having been asked to keep an eye on Emily now and then. She's probably doting enough and she's likely bumped into a lot of other hunters over time (within reason, of course!) so hey.
Failing that, they could have met outside of their work duties and simply ended up acquaintances. She does buzz about in quite a few places, savory and otherwise.

@upscalerat: Cool! Tutor for the core classes it is then! … Good luck Emily…

@Teknopathetic: Depending on ToskaO's response, I think I will have Pazel working at a bar/cafe. Which at this point, I'm about to make it into a cafe that turns into a bar at night. Maximilienne may fall victim to Pazel's experimental dishes he makes (such as his mealworm bolognese sauce on arugula agar spaghetti).

As for Rosenkreuz, I didn't think they would be on good terms. That might change later, but not any time soon. I mean, for starters, Rosenkreuz is an assassin: not exactly the most honorable career. Ze has killed innocents for money, got in the way of the Order a number of times, and killed members of the Order, again, for money. I doubt Maximilienne would want to be buddy-buddy with Rosenkreuz.

@JJDoe: Very fair. If that's the case I'm sure Lienne has, by now, learned to bring enough contraband seasonings to pretend she is not eating something horrific.
(Assuming she ever finds out, or even cares - she's probably got a gut o' iron! Viva la France!)
Which will probably help her put up with...

...Yeah. I don't see her having any sort of an upbeat rapport with Rose, to no one's surprise! They're pretty much diametrically opposed, at this point. Huzzah and such.

I might just have Matthew leave the corpses in the house whilst he decides what to do. Maybe Sebastian can help out with that after the party, lols.

And thus my next post is late up!

The party is just beginning! This opens up the opportunity for interaction between player characters and player family leaders. You can use this time to take your character to the party only, and have them just be there for this round (like I have), or you can work with someone to have some interaction this round, up to you! My character is open for approaching if you want to end your post with coming up to him, then we'd work on something for the next one. Or you can ignore him, up to you guys.

Hunters I'm not sure what you wanna do, if you wanna attack already, infiltrate the party for info (Gloria doesn't exactly know everyone or have an exact number of guests attending so if you wanna get all gussied up too that's an option.

Oh and Doctor, Sebastian would be invited, of course.

If I forgot anything/wrote something dumb just let me know!

@ToskaO: …Actually that sounds kind of fun… *Thinks about it* Her unhealthy appearance probably would make Pazel want to feed her.

Oh, by any chance, would she go to a bar or cafe often? I'm debating if Pazel should work there instead (so he has the chance to meet other non-student characters) or as Adelaide's nanny apprentice---… or Pazel could work at the shop that supplies Adelaide's tattoo ink/supplies. I'm kind of leaning on the bar/cafe, but Adelaide's apprentice is appealing too.

*Psst*... she look's unhealthy because she has a drug problem... Not that she won't take your food... and repay you with a sharp tongue.

Adelaide isn't likely a common patron of any cafe's, but is probably a regular at more than one bar. If that's the how Paz know's her, she probably wouldn't recognise him (but she'd act like she did if it meant a free drink!) If you want it to be a two way relationship, the apprentice thing is the only one I see working with both Paz and Adelaide's personalities.

Sound's like a plan :) You can count on your new tattoo having some... interesting properties

Oh... and there **might** be a very good reason that Oliander wasn't invited to the the council/ball/party... thing.
Subtlety... not his thing.
Not being the sort of thing people have nightmares about... also not his thing.
Power and money and murder... totally his thing...

@upscalerat: Fantastique. I'd say it would be most entertaining for them to at least be light acquaintances and that Lienne is on surveying-well-being duty, so I'll put in my bid for that angle. It's good to have non-work friends.

Any idea what you'll have Emily doing for the first big gathering? I'm waffling over potential courses of action, myself.

@Teknopathetic: Sounds good to me c: And I hadn't, yet... I was gonna see what more of the others not going to the Andersons' were doing, first, and consider her going for witches or not.

Something to think about: How do you guys want this party to end? I have a few thoughts of my own.

1. It could end peacefully, with our characters leaving the occasion with at least one new connection in the magical world (as in, another player character/family). This offers a lot of time for dialogues between characters during the event and a chance to write as the leader of your family (during the actual peace meeting part of the party), but it lacks proper action and deception, which everyone loves.

2. It could end with a fight between two or more families (maybe even started by player characters themselves). The peace treaty breaks down as blood is spilled, sides are chosen, and fancy mansions get trashed. This plays more into the families and would allow alliances between player families as they pick sides, eventually evolving into a kind of mini war between them. For the hunters among us, this option presents a chance to hit the witches while they are weak and divided and maybe even join forces with a family or two with the intent of wiping both sides out. The enemy of your enemy is your friend... until your enemy is dead.

3. It could end with a fight between the witches and the hunters right now. A massive raid led by the Order (which could sweep up a few outcasts working the place as well) against this concentrated group of higher ups in the witch world. This gets us into the most action quickly. People will die, a lot of people. This could lead to the survivors of the party (our characters and maybe some stragglers) working towards revenge or even just to survive as the hunters seek to wipe the remnants of the even off the face of the earth.

These are just a few options I came up with on the spot. If you guys like any of these, or any parts of these, let me know. And of course, if you have your own ideas don't hold back (do I say this enough?). Up to you guys what direction this story takes.

All three?

Either way, I'll be disappointed if we don't get to wreck a lovely house.

I personally think one of the conflict ones is more interesting, and probably more realistic once Oliander Ruine shows up uninvited.

Also, is Adilade supposed to be there? She's not going to show up willingly, so if you want her there then we're going to have to figure something out...

@Doc: Can't really end peacefully and have everyone die, now can we? Haha. Mixing them is definitely a possibility too. Hostility between families is then broken up by an Order raid. This allows the families to put aside their differences to face a common enemy or ignore the real issue (the hunters) and continue fighting or use the common enemy as a way of destroying the other families. I think I like this one.

@ToskaO: I'm partial to those as well. Addy doesn't necessarily need to be there, but that would mean it would be a bit longer before she is pulled into the conflict. We could come up with some way to get her there, if you want, as well. Any ideas on that front?

@upscalerat: How about the mix of 2 and 3?
