This RP will take place in a medieval fantasy desert kingdom, and we will play over PMs. I have to ask that you also be over 18, although we don't have to RP mature content if you don't want to.
I'd play a male character, probably of a fantasy race. You can play a female of whatever race you want, as long as we're both doing humanoids, anthros, or any reasonably human-like creature (a pair of arms and legs). Both characters are over 18.
YC would be a young woman who moved to this kingdom a few years ago. She had come intending to learn to be a healer, but found that she was rejected for whatever reason by the guild, either due to her lack of aptitude or more likely, through no fault of her own, such as being rejected due to her species or something else unfair. With no position as a healer, she'd take up a job as a masseuse at an inn, as that was part of the healing therapies she learned beforehand.
MC would be a young male who is part of a rich and storied family in the kingdom with a long history of service to the crown. Normally, he'd be in line for a stellar career, but given that he's way down in the birth order, he has little to look forward to despite his noble status; his older brothers have first claims on the inheritance and for decent positions in the king's army and court. MC would be in training for a career in the army, but he wouldn't have done much in the way of work, a short stint in the army as a low-ranking officer notwithstanding. He's reasonably strong and skilled with a sword and close combat, but he's hardly an expert.
Both characters would be rejected or set aside for one reason or another, largely due to circumstances beyond their control. MC would visit the inn where your characters works and they'd meet. Exactly what happens next is up to us.
