"Welcome! Welcome! Have a look at our selection!"

A faint hint of lavender greets the senses, mixed in with the aroma of hot wax lightly dripping from the candlesticks dotting the cozy little storefront, the soft flicker of light casting a dim light over the shelving and tabletops spread about the room.

A single windowsill set in the corner casts the glow of the clear night sky, that of the moon and the stars. A lone cat sits atop a barrel, it's tail flicking from side to side in a slow rhythmic motion offering a soft mewl in welcome with a turn of the tabby's head the bell around it's neck tinkling slightly. A handwoven basket lay before the tiny animal, filled with the aromatic flowers that faintly scented the room.

Behind the counter by the table a kobold leafs through a leather-bound book, looking up momentarily from his reading "Oh a customer?" with a light snap he closes the book, clearing his throat with an 'ahem'.

"Welcome, my name Thel'dek." the kobold had a shrill squeaky voice that he spoke broken english in "You need help?" he inquired lacing his sharp little fingers together over the counter he sat behind.
