Not sure if I want this to a 1x1 or a small group roleplay yet, but here's the plot.
In ancient times, the people of what is now known as Japan, believed in gods and goddesses.
The leader of these deities was the sun goddess, Amaterasu. She was said to be a beautiful white wolf with crimson markings, some of which could be interpretated to represent the rising sun. Some people believed that she had a human form as well, but preferred her wolf form.
As time went on and science became a thing, people lost faith in their gods, saying that no gods exist. This caused the ancient deities, including Amaterasu, to lose their power and strength. People no longer could see the gods, and the gods would appear to be white animals, nothing more.
One hundred years after Orochi, an serpent demon lord with eight heads, was slain, Amaterasu went to toe-to-toe with Yami, the demon of eternal darkness. Despite Amaterasu's efforts along with her celestial envoy, Issun's own, Amaterasu and the other gods were finally defeated.
Despite the ruler of darkness' original intentions to plunge the world into darkness, Yami made a deal with humans, as their lack of faith in the gods was to Yami's advantage. If any white zodiac animals were to be found, they were to immediately die. If humans even thought about helping so much as one white animal that was in the zodiac, the deal would be over, and the world would be forever dark.
A few thousand years had passed since the pact that Yami made with the humans. No one believed in the gods anymore, and science became more and more prominent over the "fairy tales." Technology was at an all-time high, and the year was now 2077.
You are a simple farmer who prefers living out in the country and keeping to yourself over city life and dealing with too many people. However, you've hit a stumbling block. Something has been preying on your livestock. You set out to catch the animal that is eating your livestock, only to eventually stumble upon something laying dead-still on a trail for ATVs. Upon approaching, you discover a white she-wolf, her pelt being a mixture of red from blood, brown from mud, and the white patches of fur being all matted.
What actions will you take when you discover that the wolf, though in horrible shape, still lives?
