I'm a carrier carrier ship in the IJN and i get hit badly at one of the battles of the war between your forces and mine. I am not finished off by enemy forces due to a large storm that sweeps in and causes all of the enemy forces planes to have to land and the enemy ships have trouble finding me. I float adrift in the water for days until you find me on a patrol deep in your own forces territory drifting in the water and near death. But instead of finishing me off, your forces decide to take me back to your port and bring me back to consciousness instead. Then the story can go from there if you want.
