Out of time rides a formerly named knight now only known as The Lingering. Unable to find rest, unable to leave the lands of the living, he rides after death, cursed to wander and avenge the innocent. Only when he has paid for his sins will his self-induced lingering be over. He has cursed himself to never rest until he has paid for his crimes. The man died, the knight is forgotten. All that is left is the phantom rider seen lingering on in the mist and shadow.
