T H E . O U T B R E A K Mullen, Nebraska. A tiny town in the middle of nowhere. A place where everyone knew everyone and nothing interesting or different ever happened. The residents of the small town were going about their normal days when the announcement came. There was a breakthrough in medical technology that could cure all diseases and ailments. Those who were sick or dying looked to this new medicine as a miracle, something that no one ever thought possible. People from around the world rushed to treatment facilities. The lines were so long, people waited in queues for days just to be put on a waiting list. For a couple months, the miraculous healing power of this new medicine spread throughout the world like wildfire. Even in a place like Mullen, people heard of the magic cure. And even the rare few were lucky enough to receive it… Or, so they thought. A couple months later, September 23rd, it happened. The airwaves were hijacked. Broadcasted throughout the town, the country… Maybe even the world has the same message. Side effects of the cure were becoming prominent. After an incubation period, the cure attacked the host, infecting them with a new and unknown virus. This disease was making people go crazy, causing them to attack others in primal ways. They said everything was fine, a prescription would solve it and tests were being done. But what people in the little town of Mullen didn’t hear about was the gravity of the situation. Marshall Law was enforced, resorting to extreme measures to contain and destroy the outbreak. They quarantined cities, evacuated or executed recipients of the cure and worked endlessly to find a vaccine to counteract the rapidly spreading virus. That’s when it consumed everything. It happened so quickly that the small town was blind and had no clue what was coming. Due to its isolation, the town’s people had no idea about the terrors this medicine had brought upon the world. News took too long to travel to Mullen, and unfortunately for the residents there, the infection traveled quicker. It was swift and quiet, working its way through the main part of town going from store to store, throughout the church, schools and then eventually made its way to the farms… Within a matter of hours everyone in the town was infected. A F T E R M A T H It has been 24 hours since the outbreak, and every single person in Mullen was infected with the disease. But there are some… who aren’t mindless zombies… A handful of the townspeople woke up after being infected, seeming completely fine. But they have no memories of who they are or what happened to them before they blacked out from the virus. Now that they’ve awakened, they search the town for others that possibly survived too... others who are also immune. But being immune only means the survivors can’t get infected. It doesn’t mean the zombies don’t notice their existence. While fighting for their lives they quickly learn that they aren’t normal. The virus has bonded with their cells and gave them strange abilities and that zombies aren’t the only ones that want to kill them. | . |

I'm Mjolnir, or MJ has some have grown to call me. She/her in my 30s. I'm newer to this RP after my last site of over a decade died. My longstanding RP partner recently ghosted so I'm hoping to find someone to do long term 1x1s or small group RPs with. I'll do my best to describe my expectations desires and what I write like to help people know if we'd maybe be a good match. As always, if you have any questions let me know :)

- 18 + just to be on the safe side
- Please, please no ghosting - Just talk to me. If you need to tap out or take a break I'll understand. Just communicate with me.
- Moderate to advanced writers - Quality over quantity, but I'd like someone in the same ballpark of writing skill as myself. Here and here are good examples of my writing. You're also welcome to look through my post history or my RP to get an idea for my characters and writing style.
- Multi-paragraph to novella length - For a single character I usually write around a 5 paragraph minimum but depending on what's going on and the complexity of the situation, I've been known to write 1000+ word posts.
- Posting speed - I'm very flexible with posting speed. Life happens. Sometimes I'm super excited and start writing immediately and sometimes it can take me a week or two to find the time. I can be very patient, just let me know.
- Characters - I like playing multiple characters in a RP, usually 2 minimum, but I've played on the upwards of 8 before. I don't expect someone to like playing that many characters, but I'd like someone who is comfortable playing more than a singular character. I like playing a variety of characters, usually a mix of female and male, so similar in a partner would be nice. I'd rather not be stuck playing all one gender, but I'm flexible depending on what we discuss. (no self inserts, please)
- Plot / story before romance - I don't want RPs that are just about romance. I love romance and I'm a big advocate for our characters falling in love, but I don't want it being the central plot. I like everything happening organically, so I usually avoid pre-planned romances. My characters go where the chemistry is. If romance happens in the story cool, if not, also cool. But I don't want an RP that's solely romance focused.
- Smut flexible - I've never been much of a smut writer, so I definitely don't want an RP that's just ERP. I'm open to pursuing in depth sexual content if it makes sense for the story. But I'm also totally fine with a sexy build up and fade to black. We can talk about it and figure out our comfort zones.
- Adult content - I am an adult and enjoy adult content. Violence, cussing, sex, drugs... All of it is fine with me. I have no triggers and I'm open to most things if it makes sense for the story. I am not a smut writer, so while I like the darker themes, I don't have any desire to indulge other's in their darker fetishes or ERP desires. I'm fine with most things for the sake of the story, but I'm here for collaborative storytelling, not written porn.
