The fight spills out into the ringside and goes all the way around the ring with both Isabella and Katarina delivering a variety of vicious attacks. Isabella manages to suplex Katarina on top of the announcement table, stunning her. Raven rushes Isabella from behind only for Isabella to quickly overpower Raven in a quick grapple and fling her over the nearby barrier into the crowd. - Carlo Deguara faces - and is quickly overwhelmed - Mihailo VasiÄ, whose size and strength dictated the pace from the opening bell despite Deguaraās efforts. VasiÄ wasted little time asserting control, flattening Deguara with various slams and moving into a dominant cover early on. The referee made the three-count, giving VasiÄ a swift victory in less than five minutes. Deguara was outraged, afterward shouting at the referee about the count being too fast and asking āwhy did you even finish itā leaving many eyebrows raised in the aftermath.
- Part of a heated exchange between Carlo Deguara and Diana Deguara is caught backstage. Their actual dialogue cannot be heard as they quickly part company after seeing the cameras.
- Fiona Chevalier meets Tanya Redd in a match that showcased both endurance and ring awareness. Tanya held the advantage for most of the match, landing a variety of brutal attacks against Fiona including a ringside pounding with a steel chair. The decisive moment came when Fiona narrowly evaded a match-ending corner splash attempt by Redd. Although Redd did later drive both competitors wildly threw a table off the turnbuckle, Fiona managed to muster just enough strength after the collision to secure a weak cover, earning a narrow pinfall victory.
- Uberto Cafrune is set against Cash Powers. The match quickly devolved into chaos mere minutes in as both men made liberal use of weapons, with steel chairs and kendo sticks littering the ringside area. Cafrune, however, maintained a strategic edge, systematically targeting Powersā limbs to neutralize his offense. As the effects of Cafruneās attacks mounted, Powers struggled to mount any sustained comeback against his opponentsā push. After a prolonged battle with kendo sticks and steel chairs, Veyn grounded Cadiz and applied a rear chinlock hold. Despite Cadizās resilience and skill in escaping submission holds, Veyn forced her to tap securing the win. Raven Veyn advances to the next round of the Rubicon Gauntlet while Isabella Cadiz is eliminated.

Outcome

2. āThe Astro Kidā Jay Wyatt VS āThe Mojave Scorpionā Uberto Cafrune VS Mihailo VasiÄ - Jay Wyatt and Mihailo VasiÄ win by escaping the steel cage.
Memorable Moments
- NMW CEO Mark Trenton and NMW GM Antonio Deguara are seen arguing in the parking lot on the way into the arena. On spotting approaching press they immediately compose themselves and wave off reporters.
- NMW GM Antonio Deguara enters the arena, welcoming the crowd, recapping the events of the previous weeks in short, and announcing the opener of the night; the womenās championship qualifying steel cage match.
- Raven Veyn, Elina Zamora, and Fiona Chevalier collide in a triple threat steel cage match with a championship opportunity on the line. Although Elina and Fiona appeared to form a last-minute alliance to neutralize the threat posed by Raven, the former champion would not be overwhelmed. Veyn consistently held her own against the two, forcing both opponents to work hard for every advantage. Zamora managed to escaped the cage near the end of the match, securing one of the available championship spots, leaving Chevalier alone with Veyn. The battered younger wrestler was quickly dispatched by the veteran before Raven made her own escape from the cage. Elina Zamora and Raven Veyn will advance on to a championship showdown against each other in Las Vegas the following week.
- Raven Veyn is approached by reporters after the match. Veyn was short with her answers. When asked if she thought she could beat Elina the following week Veyn retorted that she had beaten her āplenty of times beforeā and then laughed, calling the question stupid and slapping down the camera, cutting the feed.
- Carlo Deguara meets Mihailo VasiÄ and his sister Katerina in the tunnel before the menās qualifying cage match and hesitantly wishes Mihailo luck. Katerina laughs, saying her brother āneeds no luckā. Deguara shrugs and offers Mihailo a handshake which Mihailo at first seems to take only to then nearly crush Carloās hand in his palm as Katerina continues to laugh. Mihailo leaves the young Deguara wincing on his knees and heads for the ring.
- The triple threat cage match between āThe Astro Kidā Jay Wyatt, the āMojave Scorpionā Uberto Cafrune, and Mihailo VasiÄ begins with Wyatt and Cafrune working together to overwhelm VasiÄ as soon as the bell rang. The two competitors battered VasiÄ with a relentless series of strikes and double-team attacks eventually leaving him sprawled on the canvas. However, their temporary alliance quickly fell apart as Wyatt and Cafrune turn on each other, exchanging heavy blows and attempting to climb over the steel structure several times - each escape attempt ending in failure. VasiÄ soon recovered from the early punishment and regained his strength. Seizing the opportunity, VasiÄ stormed back into the match, flattening both Wyatt and Cafrune with a dominant offensive surge that left them incapacitated. With neither opponent able to stop him, VasiÄ scaled the cage and successfully escaped over the top. The match concluded with a recovered Wyatt finally gaining the upper hand by dropping Cafrune with a spectacular jumping Bionic Elbow before climbing out of the cage to secure the final escape and the victory. Mihailo VasiÄ and Jay Wyatt will face off in a championship match in Las Vegas the following week.
- Following the menās cage match, VasiÄ and Wyatt stood face-to-face in front of the announcement table as Katerina briskly entered the ring and immediately took her brother's side. Speaking on Mihailo's behalf Katerina declared that, like every opponent before him, Wyatt would be broken by her brother. She dismissed Wyatt's confidence and insisted that his fate would be no different from the others who had fought the Croatian giant. Wyatt responded with a smug grin, reminding Katerina of the story of David and Goliath. Staring Mihailo directly in the eyes, he vowed that after felling the giant he would leave Las Vegas as the new king, then dropping his mic and storming out of the arena.
Welcome to the first edition of Merciless Women Monthly's Power Rankings! Today we're breaking down the standings of the NMW Women's Division, or perhaps more accurately, everyone Raven Veyn destroyed on her way to the top. That's right, The Queen of the Goths began her reign as NMW Women's Champion last Friday, and while we wouldn't bet on anyone being able to dethrone her anytime soon, here's how we feel the top 10 hopefuls stack up for the upcoming month of September...
*Note: MWM is an independent fan blog. We are not affiliated with No Mercy Wrestling in any official capacity, and these rankings are purely speculative.
1. Isabella Cadiz
It was a commonly held opinion at the time that the extreme rules battle between Raven Veyn and Isabella Cadiz was the real women's championship match, and seeing the rest of the tournament results, it's hard to argue with that. Isabella knows what it takes to be a champion over the toughest competition, even fighting Raven to a no contest result in their first meeting on the brand. Raven's gained the early upper hand in their rivalry, but no one can deny Isabella is easily best positioned on the roster to make a challenge for the title.
2. Elina Zamora
Elina came blazing into the NMW scene as we all expected she would, with a strong debut win over Fiona Chevalier and two more statement wins in the tournament over Ash Weathers and Ada Eberhard. Despite her defeat in the title match to Raven, Elina remains in the top tier of the division, and we know she'll continue to look for a way to overcome her nemesis and take that gold.
3. Fiona Chevalier
Easily the biggest pleasant surprise of the Rubicon Gauntlet, Fiona looks like the future of the women's division right now. Making it to the semifinal round was a huge achievement for her, with her spectacular, gutsy win over Tanya Redd proving to be a standout match in a night full of highlights. We might be getting ahead of ourselves ranking her in the top 3, but with her only singles defeat thus far being at the hands of Elina Zamora, she's earned it for now. Don't be surprised when she gets booked for a main event match sooner rather than later, because NMW has a rising star on their hands in Fiona Chevalier.
4. Shin Choon-hee
The rankings get a lot messier from here, as pretty much everyone outside the top three have at least one disappointing result on their record. That said, we think Shin Choon-hee is going to bounce back in a big way from her defeat against Fiona Chevalier, and the betrayal of her tag team partner. Look for her to take out her frustration on anyone that gets in her way on the NMW roster, and start building some impressive results. Like Fiona, Shin is a rising star in her own right, and she's just getting settled in at NMW.
5. Katarina VasiÄ
An 0-2 record really doesn't tell the whole story for Katarina VasiÄ. She may not be the giant her brother is, but she's still a force to be reckoned with, and already has a main event match against Isabella Cadiz under her belt. Losing to Ada Eberhard in the first round of the tournament wasn't great, but we think Ada's more than a little underrated, and Katarina will quickly claw her way back to relevance in the women's division.
6. Ash Weathers
NMW has a whole squad of impressive young talent, and Ash Weathers is one of the best. In the wake of Fiona Chevalier's tournament run and Shin Choon-hee's high profile signing, Ash has gone a little under the radar, but her results so far speak for themselves. A commanding win over Velvet Zacca proved she meant business, and then two weeks later she refused to let the Beatifics play their games and secured the win over Aubrey. Starting out against Elina in the tournament was a tough draw, and we don't expect it to keep her down for long. She'll be out for blood.
7. Abby Beatific
It's fair to say that stocks in the Beatific twins are down lately, especially where singles competition is concerned. The ringside antics have been hit-or-miss, and on her own against Tanya Redd it was a pretty one-sided defeat for Abby, especially disappointing given the way Fiona Chevalier took Tanya down the very next week. We're not completely out on the Beatifics just yet, and if this were a tag team ranking, they'd be much higher. Expect Abby to make some aggressive moves in the coming weeks to put the spotlight back on herself. We know how crazy she gets when the attention's on her competitors for too long.
8. Ada Eberhard
Ada's gotten a lot of work over the first two months of NMW, and here at MWM we feel like some fans wrote her off too quickly after that loss to Fiona on the opening night. That loss looks like much less of an upset as the weeks go by, and Ada's gained some positive results of her own in the meantime, including a big upset over Katarina VasiÄ. The Neon Diva is winning fans back, and is looking like a high quality midcard competitor.
9. Keysha Wayne
Keysha has a huge amount of potential, but a mix of poor self-control and just plain bad luck have held her back so far. Letting opponents like the Beatifics get in her head is something she has to avoid if she wants to perform when the lights are brightest. And as for the tournament, someone had to go up against Isabella in round one, and Keysha for better or worse hadn't resonated with fans enough for them to vote her higher. She fought pretty well in the match, though, and that's a good sign that she'll remain in the top 10 of these rankings in the months to come.
10. Tanya Redd
It feels like it's always the same story with Tanya Redd. She wins a big match and looks like she's finally ready to take over the women's division, and then she falls flat on her face. She dominated Abby Beatific, only to overlook Fiona Chevalier in a match that, on paper, seemed heavily skewed in her favor. At this point, it seems like she is who she is: a powerhouse who just can't find the consistency she needs when the pressure's on.
