How He Ended Up At Hermes Powder Academy: Silas's arrival at Hermes Powder Academy was a matter of...circumstance in his view. Having left a trail of unanswered questions, disappearances, and whispers behind him, Silas found a strange offer of acceptance fall into his lap. Word had reached the Academy of his unique 'talents' and his particular understanding of the darker aspects of human nature. With the law not too far behind him and his mother's words ringing in his ears, Silas decided to take the offer as an opportunity to learn, to possibly control his dark impulses towards strangers, and to test the limits of his skills within the Academy's unorthodox curriculum. Whether Hermes Powder Academy can reform someone with Silas's dark past remains to be seen, and whether he wants to be reformed at all is an even bigger question. But it sure would be interesting to find out!!

Ophelia is very strong willed, she refuses to take anything sitting down. If you are rude to her, she will call you out on it, and simply ask what the thought process was behind that. Pride often can get in the way of logical actions, but she can see this and is trying to work on it.

A Memory: (This will be elaborated in her history, but this is essentially a cause of her fear of the dark.)
Ophelias breathing is shaky, her eyes closed tightly as the damp wall presses on her back. It was her own fault she was here…right? She didn’t listen, the cellar was the only answer.
After she was locked in the cellar, she comes out behaved. But the cellar is so dark…Ophelia mistakes blood rushing in her ears as another persons breathing, and exhaling softly, she opens her eyes, praying that for once they just get used to the dark instead of conjuring up humanoid manifestations of her insecurities.
Of course she was not lucky. Looking out into the damp, dark room, she sees a person sitting in the middle of the floor, a few paces away from her, crouched and hunched over, long stringy hair showing. “Non…” Ophelia whispers, her voice breaking as the breathing in her ear gets louder, the creature crawling to her with strangely long limbs. She couldn’t move, could barely breathe at this point. She was stuck, in the dark.

History:
Ophelia grew up on the countryside in France. It was a nice enough area, with a good school, good neighbors. Although Ophelia never did meet any of them. She was a prisoner in her own house, her parents keeping her to homeschool and shape how they want.
They pushed her, more than what was healthy, berating and screaming at her if she failed. At five years old, Ophelia was taught that emotions and empathy made her weak, and if she cried, she was told to be logical, and sent down into the cellar as the most severe punishment.
She tried to grow accustomed to it, but the need for light always stuck with her. When she turned 18, she finally had enough, packing what she could, she snuck out of her house and ran, as far as humanly possible without stopping. It nearly drove her into several injuries, but the endurance she builder kept her going. She figured out how to get money fast, and booked it to London.
Now she resides in a small apartment, keeping up with her own training and her own life.
