"Um.." Daria's blush returned as she thought about Silas. "He isn't a friend, he's just, uh..." she couldn't bring herself to say "crush" or "boyfriend", she did not like revealing her secrets to those she hadn't met fully. "He's Silas, I don't know his last name.."

"Okay, so it says that the main office... or Mrs. Bradley's? office is in the 4th hall which is on the 4th floor?" Daria said, looking back at Ari.

Silas’s simmering rage intensified as he watched the strange boy, the one with baggy jeans, who had been the cause of his crashing fall. The boy, seemingly without a care in the world, hurried off as if his collision with Silas had been nothing more than a mild inconvenience. Silas's scowl deepened, and his knuckles were clenching at his sides.
He was torn between grudging admiration for the boy’s nonchalant audacity and a simmering, white-hot fury at being made a fool of. He was ready to unleash a torrent of hell, and this new person had the nerve to walk away from him. Did he have a death wish? He would give him a bullet to the head if he wasn't afraid someone would snitch on him; no, he wouldn't waste it on that poor excuse of a teenager.

Scoffing derisively, Silas brushed off his slightly dirtied clothes, carefully removing all physical evidence of his undignified tumble. He stood up, his eyes narrowing while he glared balefully at anyone who so much as looked like they were contemplating making eye contact with him. His mouth was already forming expletives on his tongue; luckily, he didn't shout them. So what, he was a horrible person.
He forced his way towards the spot he had been occupying only minutes ago, before his world had been rudely disrupted by Ari, a spot where he could watch Daria talk, his mind in a twisted kind of trance with all sorts of fantasies, just for a fleeting bit. As he approached, a bitter envy that he couldn't understand washed over him, tainting his insides with something close to jealousy.
Ari. That was the boy’s name. Silas filed it away, engraving it into his memory alongside countless others he'd collected. He couldn't decide whether it was to put in the back of his head lest he be called that to himself, his name not being that, or whether he would torment the other into going insane.
He remained silent, a silent observer to their interaction, the anger starting to abate slowly. A hint of amusement flickered in his grey eyes as he took in Daria’s reaction to Ari's light words, the delicate blush returning to her cheeks.
A strange echo of that warmth he had been trying to suppress responded in kind, causing his own cheeks to flush slightly. He was blushing again! The day was only getting worse. Silas couldn't help but scoff once again.

Daria smiled, and then went on her way to find Silas again. If she wanted to fall in love with him, she would have to use his own method against him - like a predator to prey. She always learned this method with boys she was interested in.

ari suddenly realized she walked away.. softly feeling stupid but smiling at himself more than anything as air travels to the 4th floor avoiding eye contact from everyone to nervous to speak to see if he got it right and to shy to even look at the names on the door

finally ari made it to the forth floor. and walked into the main office

The End of Day Two

As Ari found his way into the lair- I mean, office, of Mrs. Bradley, Daria has now found herself still interested in Silas, to a point where she'll stalk him. Will Daria finally confess her love to Silas? Will Ari be able to adapt to the wretchedness and darkness within the Academy's walls? Only to find out, in the next day...

Daria woke up, intent with finally telling Silas what she needed to for the past two days. But first, she would shower, and she did.

She didn't bother changing into her uniform, just staying in her linen pajamas as she wandered around the halls looking for his dorm room.

Then she saw it, the door with the elegant script bearing his name: "Silas T. Blackwood"

Daria was very hesitant, practically shaking, even though it was very warm in the hallway, the padding of her bare feet slowed down as she approached his door. Daria knocked on the door.

Ophelia woke up as usual, in the new dorm. It was honestly a bit disorienting, being in such a new place. It was certainly nicer than her own home. Sighing softly, she got from her bed, putting on a different dress. She really should wear the uniform, but no one has stopped her yet, and she’d be damned if she let them now. She goes to the mirror on the vanity, it having been kept in her dorm. Humming a soft tune to herself, she puts in a bit of makeup she found in the courtyard the other day, putting her hair half up. It was completely out of social standards and she relished in it. She grabs her bag now, walking out into the hall, her dull blue eyes going over the walkways

Ari barely even getting outta bed he was tired from the constant overwhelming fear that..what if nobody in this school liked him or was he ever gonna fit in it kept him up all night

Ari attempted to comb his fluffy puffy hair that just simply stayed over his eyes but he gave up and just tighten his belt and headed out the door. i simply serious stern attitude even though to hide his nervousness of the day the school was already terrifying to air and worse whenever had this vibe that they just wanted him dead.

The monotonous rhythm of the days at Hermes Powder Academy began to blur together, each one indistinguishable from the last. Silas went through the motions, attending classes in body but not in spirit, his mind a million miles away from the droning lectures and arcane theories. He dutifully marked his presence, occupying a seat in the back row, his grey eyes scanning the room with a detached curiosity, cataloguing the faces and mannerisms of his fellow students. He ignored the facts and formulas because he wasn't here for the learning, no matter, he still existed here.

Of course, there was one exception to his disdain for the daily routine, or at least if he ignored the faces. Dinner. He definitely did not ignore that, and it was a highlight that stood out from the otherwise repetitive hum of the days at the Academy. The thought that he was actually able to keep himself satiated was enough for him to actually try in some aspects of his life, even the classes, to be able to live up to the expectations of himself.

Silas viewed the dining hall and the staff as his personal hunt. He approached to ensure that there wasn't someone waiting to ambush him or anything of the sort. It helped him to sleep better, almost as if he were a pet now. More like a caged wild animal. He carefully surveilled the room as he ate, ensuring that no one dared to go near his prey, noting the presence of that bully. Every night that he thought that the bully who had picked on Daria before was planning to attack him. Silas would make his death slow if the bully even tried. Silas made his way back to his room, a small haven of solitude and quiet in the midst of the bustling Academy. He ate his fill of pilfered food, letting hunger rest easy in his heart. Then, he fell back onto the bed and bundled himself up in the warm blankets, grateful for the chance to escape the day and the complicated stirrings in his own head and heart. His sleep came quickly and easily, pulling him into its warm embrace. For once, he slept soundly through the night, a rare and welcome respite from the restless sleep that more often plagued him. Although from what he could vaguely remember of his dreams, they all centred around Daria to some extent, woven into fantastical and elaborate scenarios. He was in love, and he was planning to ruin her life; that was probably love. Right? Silas was doomed.

His dream was suddenly and rudely cut short by a loud, insistent knocking on his door, jolting Silas awake and catapulting him from the depths of sleep into a state of instant alert. In an instant, Silas was up, bolting upright with the speed of a coiled snake. Every waking moment was a dance around a potential for destruction because that kept the hate alive. He reached under his pillow, his fingers instinctively closing around the familiar hilt of the knife he always kept at the ready. Moving with cat-like silence, Silas crept to the wooden door, his bare feet making no sound on the worn floorboards. Some habits would never change. His hand rested against the cold doorknob, his heart hammering in his chest as suspicion ate at him

In a single, fluid motion, he threw the door open, his grey eyes widening in disbelief as he looked at who it was, realising it was Daria who stood before him and not some punk looking for revenge as he had originally feared. That made him even more confused because Daria was one of the most beautiful girls he had ever laid eyes on. He couldn't help it. A rush of confused fluster brought a rush down his face. It took him only a fleeting glance for her eyes to linger on his half-naked body, clad in only a pair of ragged boxers, to register the sheer impropriety of the situation. Fuck, he had nearly stabbed her!

In an instant, mortification and self-consciousness crashed over him. He was aware of what he was and what he meant for her, which was everything, maybe. Heat flooded his cheeks. In a near-panic, he slammed the door in her face once more, his mind racing, he ran around to find clothes. His face twisted. Cursing himself for his unthinking impulsiveness. A fool!! He scrambled to gather his scattered clothes, fingers fumbling with buttons and laces as he tried to clothe himself with a speed bordering on frantic. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he considered himself presentable enough not to scare her.

He took a deep breath, attempting to regain some semblance of composure, and cautiously opened the door once again, managing a strained, awkward smile. “Hello~” he managed, his voice attempting a level of smoothness he was far from feeling right at the moment. The word sounded wet and wrong on his tongue; she wouldn't shut up. He couldn't help but wonder why this woman was going so far for him. Was that genuine?

Daria blushed at the way Silas said "Hello" to her. It was sexy, to be honest.

"Um.. hello.. I wanted to tell you something. Something that I wanted to tell you since I met you." Daria wasn't sure if this would be very wrong, but it felt so very right.

Ophelia had been walking down the hall, in no particular rush to anywhere. She never was, simply enjoying the strange amount of freedom that she seemed to have here. Well except the dress code, which she continued to drag through the mud on the daily. But again, no one stopped her. She pauses her walk though, seeing Silas and Daria. She listens in, curious and confused at the interaction. She had never seen one like this before, and in her mind, it was always good to seek understand in things she was ignorant in. Right? Yeah

Silas stood in the doorway, frozen in place, the studied nonchalance he usually projected completely abandoned. He watched Daria, his grey eyes widening in genuine surprise with every word that she spoke, his gaze fixed on her face, devouring every nuance of expression. As she spoke, he felt the blood rush to his head, filling his ears and making him almost dizzy with the sudden onslaught of emotion. His thoughts were racing, each one chasing after the next, tripping all of them in chaos as he tried to comprehend the implications of her words, her voice. His throat twisted tight in knots. Her voice, warm and melodic, was something he had never heard before, a symphony crafted just for him. The tone, the inflections, the way she emphasised certain words, all of it resonating within him with a force that shook him to his core. It pulled chords in his soul. His breath caught it, and he was falling for it. For her. uUck, what was wrong with him? He suddenly wanted her to keep talking to him, to fill the space between them with stories and laughter and confessions. He felt that he needed to say those words that were long on their way: Why Are You Talking To Me; Why Now!!

After giving a moment to process what was occurring, he swallowed hard, his Adam's apple bobbing nervously, and gave a slight, almost imperceptible nod of his head, acknowledging her words, unable to trust his own voice, not entirely knowing where this was going, but honestly, he didn't care. If only he got to watch Daria for just a moment longer. A lifetime was not enough. An eternity would be too short. God, he was so pathetic.

"I love you, Silas." the words came out in a rush before Daria could stop them, and before she could stop herself, she jumped up to kiss him, her legs wrapping around his waist and her arms wrapping around his neck.

Ophelia, in the middle of absolutely eavesdropping, feels eyes on her. It takes her a moment to decide to turn and look, because it was so bright out, she honestly wasn’t used to feeling eyes on her. She tilts her head, looking behind her only to find a boy, around her age, “Hello,” she hums, giving a small wave, her accent thick
