I'm The Dancer or Nine. I'm close to thirty, respond to any pronouns, and my time zone is mostly irrelevant as I hardly have a schedule nowadays anyway. Outside of Roleplaying, I'm a full-time student pursuing my second degree in Microbiology while studying Women & Gender Studies on the side. I also work as a barista during the academic year and own two wonderful cats.
In terms of Roleplaying, I've been Roleplaying for about sixteen years on a variety of clients and sites ranging from Amino to Tumblr to Facebook to VK and so on. As of late, I've been looking to write specifically on these forums. As a Roleplayer, you can expect from me:
Quality over quantity.
Past tense, third person, A- grammar.
Many, many characters played at the same time.
One-liners up to five paragraphs, depending on circumstance(s).
Optional romance (heterosexual, LGBTQIA+, and poly-ship all welcome!).
A love for Found Family, Hurt/Comfort, character development, and much, much more!
Rules.
1.) As an asexual, I don't write smut. It's all fade-to-black for me.
2.) Pedophilia, sexual assault/rape, incest, bestiality, graphic animal and child abuse, and kink-material are all off-limits for me. If you want to allude to these concepts in character stories, that's fine, but I absolutely refuse to write any of these out. I'm completely game for other "dark" topics, though, such as toxic relationships, drug use/abuse, mental illness, and so on.
3.) Please do not meta-game (allow characters to be aware of confidential information discussed out of the Roleplay), power-play (play "un-hittable" characters), play Mary Sues or Gary Stus (otherwise known as "perfect" characters without flaws), and/or force romance onto my characters or me. Godmodding (controlling my characters) may be allowed on occasion, but please check with me first!
4.) It's alright to hurt my characters and I actually welcome it, but please ask before permanently disfiguring, disabling, and/or killing them.
5.) Feel free to poke me if I haven't responded for a while! Just not excessively.
6.) Do not give me unwanted criticism!
7.) I do not write "script-style" Roleplays (ex: Tom: hello, how are you? [walks by]) and I'd prefer not to write with somebody who does. Not offense to folks who write in that style, it is just not my jam.
8.) I'm old now and I want to write with other people around my age. If it's a fandom with minimal romance and violence, such as Pokemon, I may be open to writing with minors, but otherwise, I ask that minors do not interact with this interest check.
9.) I reserve the right to add or remove rules at my own discretion.
Notes.
1.) Most of my OCs deal with trauma that I enjoy helping them overcome. These topics range from drug abuse to mental illness to overcoming abusive family dynamics to dealing with religious trauma. If any of these topics are triggering to you, please let me know upfront so I know to avoid using those character(s) or can change their arcs beforehand!
2.) By default, most of my adult OCs are pansexual and can be romanced by anyone. The exception are certain lesbian and gay characters. You can ask about these beforehand if you'd like.
3.) I play OCs of all gender identities, sexualities, ages, backgrounds, etc., though all of them are portrayed with anime FCs I've found around the internet. If I'm using an AI image, please let me know! I have a very hard time telling AI apart from genuine work and I'd rather not use it if I can help it.
4.) Response times will vary and likely be kind of slow between my schedule and mental illness. I suffer from depression, BPD, OCD, and anxiety, so sometimes I may simply lack the energy to respond (or be too anxious to do so).
5.) I like making friends with my Roleplay partners! I'm the type of person to make playlists and write the occasional one-shot fanfiction for my Roleplays. This sort of friendship with my Roleplay partners is optional, though I at least need somebody who can at least plot with me.
6.) I will be busy the first weekend of August and unable to respond!
Fandoms.
Green means "I'm interested in this fandom, no matter what!" Yellow means "I'm hesitantly interested, but you can convince me!" Red means "I like this fandom, but you'll need to really convince me to write it."

Plots.
Any details for each of these can be changed upon request!
1.) Friends (optional: online) embark on a road trip together and are caught up in a series of supernatural events.
2.) A person becomes entranced by a will-o-wisp while out in the woods one night. Believing their death is near, they embark on a journey with others to try to outsmart it.
3.) A person has amnesia of the past week of their life. While trying to pick up the pieces of whatever happened to them, they're pursued by some sort of supernatural assailant intent on hurting or even killing them.
4.) A medium or group of mediums travel around, responding to calls for help from the living to remove the undead. For every ghost, there's a risk of a demon or something equally as dangerous.
5.) A person (or persons) make a pact with an unknown entity to save their life as a child/children. Now as young adults, they see the aftermath of that pact after said entity starts to target their family and friends. Bonus: The entity can only come out when certain circumstances are met (ex: a solstice is occurring, near water, only if it's snowing, etc).
6.) Someone inflicted by Hanahaki disease has been rejected by the love of their life and is given one year to live. During that year, they set off to explore their world and make some new friends along the way.
7.) After falling into a coma, a character forgets most of their life, including the friends that surround their hospital bed. Learning about their friends is one thing, but finding out that they're married to one of them is another.
8.) A group of people (optional: friends) become trapped in a small desert town with endless fog and nightmarish monsters on the prowl.
9.) A world runs parallel to earth. Darkness fell, but once upon a time, it was a fairy tale filled with magic. Stories of its existence can only be found in fiction β Until the day that the letters arrived. Then, one day, someone fell over too.
10.) A person is either killed or ends themselves. This places a curse either on everybody involved or an entire area. After [x] amount of time passes, the curse breaks and either pulls unsuspecting victims into an unfamiliar hell or begins to plague them with a horrible amount of life-threatening bad luck.
