I used to chew on batteries as a child. My parents did a horrible job of babysitting me (or being around at all, really) and I had no idea what kind of caustic materials it was made of. I used to like the smoothness and coldness of it in my mouth though.
And if so, what kind?

I always have Spotify up in the background while writing and what I listen to tends to shift depending on the Roleplay, my mood, and/or the day. I have playlists for specific characters and moods, but for the most part, I tend to just like to listen to my Liked music. Sometimes some weeb stuff is thrown into the mix as well.

What about you all?
Welcome! Do you have a specific expertise/area of interest within History? I briefly did some time studying Middle Eastern History myself!
As a fellow fan of the macabre, I have a feeling we'd get along just fine. Welcome to the Guild!
Hello.

I'm The Dancer or Nine. I'm close to thirty, respond to any pronouns, and my time zone is mostly irrelevant as I hardly have a schedule nowadays anyway. Outside of Roleplaying, I'm a full-time student pursuing my second degree in Microbiology while studying Women & Gender Studies on the side. I also work as a barista during the academic year and own two wonderful cats.

In terms of Roleplaying, I've been Roleplaying for about sixteen years on a variety of clients and sites ranging from Amino to Tumblr to Facebook to VK and so on. As of late, I've been looking to write specifically on these forums. As a Roleplayer, you can expect from me:

  • Quality over quantity.
  • Past tense, third person, A- grammar.
  • Many, many characters played at the same time.
  • One-liners up to five paragraphs, depending on circumstance(s).
  • Optional romance (heterosexual, LGBTQIA+, and poly-ship all welcome!).
  • A love for Found Family, Hurt/Comfort, character development, and much, much more!

Fandoms.
Green means "I'm interested in this fandom, no matter what!"
Yellow means "I'm hesitantly interested, but you can convince me!"
Red means "I like this fandom, but you'll need to really convince me to write it!"

Feel free to ask about what canons I'll play— It's quite a lot!

Plots.
Details for each of these can be changed as needed!

Vague Ideas.
  • A plot inspired by/set in the universe of Funeralopolis: The Last Days.
  • A Choose Your Own Adventure that I write for you!
  • Let me write a dating sim for your character(s)!
  • Zombies and disease arcs are always a yes!
  • Exploration stories? Maybe with a curse?
  • Human experimentation stories, maybe?
  • Something involving skinwalkers!
Welcome to the Guild.

As somebody who is close to their thirties and still loves cartoons (alongside other "juvenile interests"), I can tell you that part of you never truly dies. I wouldn't considering Mouthwashing or related horror media to be childish either. It's nice to see a fellow horror fan!
This is not intended to be an interest check as I have not settled on a specific prompt yet. It's more or less trying to gauge if this audience would be interested in this concept as a whole. For those who are not familiar with it, a Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) is a form of collaborative writing in which one person authors the entire story though players interact with it in a meaningful manner through a series of choices that shape the narrative.

As a writer and a Roleplayer, would you personally be interested in partaking in such a concept? Why or why not?
