Magnolia, much like other Lagoon Fairies, is a more shy person. She is gentle, and soft spoken, very rarely leaving the lagoon unless she is called on by someone outside of her home.
She much prefers animals to anyone else and finds herself usually staying holed up in her home after a days work, enjoying her solitary life.

Bioluminescent manipulation-she has the ability to cultivate and control the bioluminescent organisms in the water, creating beautiful light shows at night or guiding lost creatures in the darkness.

Mud and sediment manipulation- Maggie also has the power to shape the muddy bottom of the lagoon, usually to build homes, or create fertile ground for unique aquatic plants.
Job in the Hollow: Home builder for creatures, but at times she works with fast-flying fairies to create storms on the mainland.
Family: None, as most fairies, she was born from a laugh and has no biological family. Although part of her has always wanted to find the child who’s laugh she came from.
Friends: Also none, at least, no fairies that are her friends. Acquaintances sure, but no friends. Except for a small frog that was stunted at its hatching. She found it’s egg cracked and took it home with her. She named him Muricle.

History:
Magnolia was born, as most fairies are, from a child’s first laugh. Her small flower seed flew miles, ending up in the center of the Hollow Tree, and there, she was greeted with many others. At first, she was scared, terrified even, like a lost child who couldn’t find home…but the princess, now Queen, Celine, gently ushered others out, letting only the council in. There, Maggie was called to a lilly pad, and was henceforth a Lagoon Fairy. She got the hang of her role in the Lagoon quickly, never talking much, just working, and going home.
Soon, she caught the eye of a Microbe Mender the went by the name of Islwyn. He was a cruel man but sure knew how to charm the young fairy girl, and soon had her ensnared in false love. He showed his true colors rather fast, asking her mockingly why she seemed to be so silent even when his fists fell like crashing pylons.
This drew her further into her shell of self comfort and dislike of others, and finally one day, he left her, going after the newest and most vulnerable fairy in the Lagoon. Magnolia didn’t know what to do, or if she should warm the other girl, if the others would even believe her. Currently, she is working on a plan.
One that would rid the lagoon of Islwyn forever.

✧ To help Muricle learn how to swim on his own, that way he can have a real life

✧ To visit the mainland and get a shiny object from there, not just little things from the Lagoon and Hollow
✧ To find a walnut and plant a walnut tree near her home. She isn’t sure it will work, but she’s hopeful.
