So I know it's basically a very niche franchise aside from being known as 'One of Attack on Titan's major inspiration' but is anyone here familiar with the Muv Luv franchise?



The TLDR is that it was a visual novel about mech pilots fighting against an alien invasion.

TBH, I don't even have a concrete RP idea yet, but it's just more of a whimsy of 'Muv Luv RP would be interesting'

I made an attempt to run one many years ago. There was also--I think--nation RP that was ran once here. I didn't join that RP, but I thought it was funny when I noticed that they lifted elements from my OOC for theirs.

I'm familiar with it from having watched most of one of the anime series, but I don't know a great deal about it.
However, real robot mecha RP is always something that has some interest.

So to be honest, I'm not sure I can run a Muv Luv RP in the immediate future. Was hoping someone is interested in making one.

Anyway, as I said, I don't have a concrete idea, but...the deaths of characters are integral to Muv Luv, but obviously in an RP, it's not fun to change characters every arc or so. So my idea was to have players have one 'main' that is on the same unit as the rest of the players. These would be the 'main characters' the one that have plot armour. While also having them have characters on the side as pilots of other units, these would be the side characters that can die.
