Heya! How's it going?
I'm Hexi, a roleplayer who has been trying to scratch an itch I have when it comes to a desire of writing whatever silly and fun ideas potentially come to mind!
First of all, I wanted to give a shoutout to @Moonberry and the rest of the Isekai Hell team - they were the one who sort of introduced me to roleplayerguild as a result of a RP that we're currently doing there.
For the longest time, I've been looking around for servers on Discord to potentially participate in, but more often than not they turn out to be not for me. Part of me has felt like this has mainly been me struggling to focus, so I'm hoping that with a possible change of scenery and a look into forum-focused RP, I can create some cool as heck stories and dumb character ideas with others.
When it comes to my preferred original settings, I like to lean towards fantasy and science fiction, as well as a bit of modern / slice-of-life RP. Fandom-wise I've roleplayed as characters from series such as from Nintendo / Smash Bros., some fighting games and Danganronpa, but unfortunately they're not entirely what I've came here for. Maybe I'll find or create something at a later date, but we'll see!
On the topic of original characters and faceclaims, more often than not they tend to be the driving force behind my inspiration for character creation and it's one of my favorite aspects of roleplaying in general. I'm that type of person who loves searching for original art on Safebooru; and once I find something that grabs my attention, it usually turns into a new source of inspiration for me. I end up asking myself questions, who are they, what they do, what is the setting they reside in, etc. All of that stems from a single piece of art I generally end up appreciating and saving in my folders.
Here's to hoping I get to throw myself into some fun stories with you all!
