So I am still here and interested though I do have some concerns. This is in no way shaming, but I wanted to bring them up.

1: I think we need more people in this RP to keep it moving and grooving.

2: How do we handle doing different things like recalling information? At the end of the post we're asked what we know about the Homeland Party. Is that common knowledge? Do we need to 'roll' for it?

3: I noticed there is another RP you put out an interest check for. I am not familiar with how you GM but in my experience the more RPs you put under your belt the more spread thin you get, which can lead to RPs slowly progressing (much like here). Not saying don't make RPs or join RPs, but I as a player am a little worried.

Again, no shade. I like this RP and want to continue.

Hey, Bean! Good to hear from you! Thanks for voicing your concerns, I can appreciate your points and I’m happy you’ve vocalised them.

1. I agree! I did have some other RPers originally, but they have since ghosted and not materialised. It’s why Byte & I suggested doubling up so we had a couple more characters added to the equation. Maybe I’ll reignite the original IC and see if I can’t rope in some more interest ^^

2. I made a Google Doc right at the start & posted the link. Think you have to request access but once you have it, there’s my plans for upcoming Cases, photos etc etc. Did you want me to repost the link for you? It’s there you’ll find the info on the Homeland Party and the Case that’ll follow once we’ve solved this one.

3. I know! I’m really enjoying the Guild atm. Not to sound sad but I’m here every day. On my way to work, on my way home from work, on my break at work… I’m really enjoying RPing. It’s my way to unwind, it’s my hobby ^^ So I’m actually finding that I have ample time and headspace. I have some fast-moving RPs and some slower ones… My last IC post here was 9 days ago :’)

I don’t like to push and harass RPers for responses. I figure you’ll respond when you’re ready or inspired to. I don’t think you need to be worried about my ability to maintain RPs. I’m able to post daily, personally. I tend to match the pace of those I RP with. Don’t want to just be shouting into the void ^^

In order to pick up the pace, maybe we could commit to posting a bit more often. An every 2-3 days commitment?
And taking a look at that Google Doc might inspire you a bit more. You’ll see the prep that’s gone into this concept :)

Would you be open to getting a CS together for a second character? Or would you rather await potential interest from other members?

Of course I don’t want to force your hand, but perhaps Spot could be called in on a case by case basis. There’ll be some Caseloads that are heavy on his workload and others? Not so much…

I think for the Homeland Brothers, it would be mainly email hacking / phone call intercepting / observation stuff.
He’d be hacking the CCTV from RR HQ etc.

But I also understand if you don’t have the capacity to rope in someone else.

If you do want Spot to enter stage left, I could tee you up via Erin. Maybe she calls him, calls in reinforcements :’)

@themaybreeze Yeah, I think that could work really well. One idea I'm also toying with is Spot tracking the Homeland Party website (I'm assuming they have one) server and finding a mirror/shadow site about the Homeland Brothers (think darkweb stuff) that's encrypted and not accessible through regular means. Not sure how you feel about that, but it might be an interesting way RR could connect the two groups with proper evidence.

And unless they, too, have a tech savvy guy, they probably wouldn't think to use seperate hostings or assumed nobody would look that deeply?

Hello you two!

This is my attempt to resuscitate this plot.

Bean, are you willing to continue here? I think a post from Avalon would be great. I posted the Case Summary in the IC so you don’t have to check the GoogleDoc.

Then, we can move into investigating this case together, along with these new characters Byte and I have introduced.

Hoping that with a little resurgence, we can get our teeth into this story and enjoy a plot we were all intrigued by ^^

Okay so I had a post, I put it up there, internet at work broke. Fixed it, post was gone. Not saved, gone. So instead of breaking my work computer I took a break. I promise to have something up this week
